Happy First Day of School!

We hope everyone had a great summer! As we kick off a new school year, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the 50+ athletes in grades 3-12 who put in the work this summer with Coach Baze and Coach Cochran.

It was an incredible summer filled with hard work, improvement, competition, and a lot of fun! We are extremely proud of the commitment these young athletes showed throughout the summer.

Now it’s time to see that hard work pay off!

We can’t wait to watch our Big Reds grow, compete, and represent Centerville this basketball season!

We have been working hard with our 6th-12th grade athletes, and now we'd like to invite our younger players to join us.
Any Centerville boy entering 3rd-5th grade is invited to attend Big Red Basketball Open Gym at Centerville High School on the following dates:

🏀 August 10, 12, 17, & 19
⏰ 5:00-6:15 PM
📍 Centerville High School (CHS)

This is a great opportunity to develop skills, have fun, and be part of the Big Red Basketball Family! We hope to see you there!

Great day at the William Penn Basketball Team Camp! It was awesome to see our upperclassmen step up and lead a young group of 8th graders throughout the day. They set the tone with their energy, encouragement, and willingness to teach. Our young players showed no fear, embraced the challenge, and competed every possession. The growth and progress from this group was evident from start to finish. Proud of both groups of athletes for the way they represented our program. Looking forward to continuing to build and seeing where the hard work takes us.

A huge thank you to the YMCA for allowing Coach Cochran and Coach Baze be a part of this week's camp! We appreciate the opportunity to work with so many great young athletes, help them develop their skills, and share our love for the game. Thank you to the YMCA staff, participants, and families for making it such a fun and successful experience. We look forward to partnering with the YMCA on future events!

Another successful day of Middle School Open Gym. Next week Tuesday will be moved back to 12:15-1:30 due to coaching staff running a camp at the YMCA. Thursday we will be back to our normal Tuesday/Thursday 10:15-11:30 time slot.

Excellent opportunity for Middle School open gym! These athletes are demonstrating commitment and dedication. We invite any interested Middle School student to participate. Open gym sessions for Middle School students are scheduled from 10:15-11:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at CHS! Go Big Reds!
