On this Trail Tuesday, we're back to share with an update on our Wayside Exhibits! These new exhibits are possible with support from the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority.

We are excited to share that a few more exhibits are just about ready to be installed along the Short Line Trail. First, we want to give a sneak peek of an exhibit highlighting the collaboration between Catonsville Rails to Trails and Patapsco Heritage Greenway (Patapsco Valley Heritage Area ). We are so appreciative of the many events that PHG plans in the Baltimore Area every year, particularly collaborative events for tree planting and invasive removal along the rails to trails.

Repost from Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks

Heads up Trolley Number Nine Trail Users in Catonsville and Oella: We need to close the trail between the two Oella Avenue intersections to complete important safety repairs.

The closure is expected to start the week of August 31. The work is estimated to take about five weeks, but could be extended for weather or other impacts.

The trail east of the eastern side of Oella Avenue will remain open.

Thank you for your patience while we make important repairs to keep the trail safe.
