He'd been talking about it for 20 years. 🌟

"One day, I'm gonna jump out of a plane."

His kids would roll their eyes. His wife would laugh. But he meant it.

Last Saturday, at 58 years old, he finally did it.

Standing at the door of the plane, looking down at the Texas Hill Country, he felt his instructor tap his shoulder. "You ready, sir?"

I honestly didn’t think I would be making this post so soon. Since Thursday’s update things have taken a pretty noticeable decline.

Yesterday, Paxton started sleeping. He was maybe awake a total of 7 hours in a 24 hour period. Today. He hasn’t been able to stay awake longer than that initial 30 minutes. Hospice came again today to take a look at him and it seems we have reached the state of his body starting to shut down. Christmas Day was probably the last normal-ish day.
