🔥 PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: JOEL N. RUIZ-MOTA 🔥
This weekend, Joel N. Ruiz-Mota had one of the best performances for State 48 Casa Grande! 👏⚽️
Joel was incredibly consistent throughout the weekend and showed his ability to adapt to different game situations and conditions. His effort, determination, and growth have been amazing to watch.
Joel started with us in the Rare Ability Soccer League, where he played for one season before joining our club. He had no previous club or team experience, but that never stopped him. He joined State 48 toward the end of last year and has continued to impress both myself and Coach Manny. 💪
Last year, our team won just one game. Since then, we’ve seen tremendous growth. During preseason, we made it to the Indoor League Championship, and this weekend we took another big step forward:

Yesterday morning, we faced Coach Edy’s Verrado 15/16 team. We came out strong and were up 2-0 at halftime. Verrado had an excellent second half, made a great comeback, and ultimately won the game 4-2.
Even with the loss, there is so much to be proud of.
Joel, we are extremely proud of you! 👏🔥 Your hard work and commitment are showing every time you step on the field.
We would not have been able to compete with all these great State 48 teams without performances like yours. This is exactly why we coach — watching players who started with little or no experience grow into confident, competitive players. ❤️⚽️
