We’re excited to be participating in the AFA Phoenix Classic-National Qualifier tournament this weekend and are looking forward to another action-packed weekend full of softball! 🥎

🎂🥎 Happy Birthday to our team admin, Amanda Hussey! ❤️‍🔥

Today we’re celebrating the person who is truly the backbone behind the AZ Hotshots Fregoso 14U! From team admin and scorekeeper to organizing tournaments, keeping everyone updated, handling the behind-the-scenes details, and making sure everything keeps moving, Amanda does a little bit of everything for this team!

But what makes it so special is how much this team has become family to her. ❤️‍🔥 She genuinely loves being part of these girls’ journey and getting to watch them grow, build confidence, overcome challenges, and continue progressing as a team.

The time, effort, and heart she puts into the Hotshots comes from a genuine love for these girls and for the game. She’s there for the wins, the losses, the long tournament days, the crazy schedules, the celebrations, and everything in between.

We’re so lucky to have Amanda as such an important part of our Hotshots family, and we hope she has the best birthday! 🎉❤️‍🔥🥎

🥎❤️‍🔥 What a weekend for our AZHotshots girls! ❤️‍🔥🥎

These girls came out DOMINATING on Saturday, going 4-0, scoring 69 runs and allowing only 3! 🔥 They fought hard through the heat, kept the bats hot, and our pitchers were absolutely incredible in the circle.

Today was a different battle. We came out strong, but fell short in the semifinals. And honestly, sometimes being humbled by a tough game is never a bad thing. Saturday doesn’t always mean Sunday will look the same — you’re often facing completely different competition, and every game gives you something new to learn.

One tough loss does not take away from the incredible work these girls put in all weekend. They deserve every bit of praise for their effort, determination, and the way they continue figuring out how to work together as a team.

We know we have a GREAT team, but we also know there is always bigger and better competition out there. That’s what makes this game so much fun — there is always something to learn, improve, and fight for.

We couldn’t be prouder of these girls. The heat didn’t stop them, and one tough game won’t define them. The work continues, and we’ll be back next weekend ready to come out strong again! ❤️‍🔥🥎

🥎🔥 WHAT A DAY FOR OUR GIRLS! 🔥🥎

We went 4-0 today, allowing our opponents just 3 total runs across all four games! Our pitchers absolutely showed out in the circle, and the bats stayed HOT — just like the weather! ☀️🔥

We’re heading into tomorrow as the #1 seed, but the work isn’t over yet. Sunday is a new day, and we’ll be back out there ready to fight through another hard-fought battle.

We are SO proud of these girls and everything they brought to the field today. But remember — the work has only just begun. ❤️‍🔥

A HUGE congratulations to our 12U Casa Grande Hotshots — AZ Hotshots Andujo 12U on an incredible championship win today! ❤️‍🔥

These girls battled their way to a 6-1 weekend, with their only loss coming against Arizona Storm Peck Huggins 12U. And what did they do? They came back and beat them in the championship game! 🔥 Both games were close and amazing talent was shown on both teams.

We are SO proud to see our Casa Grande Hotshots showing up, competing, and showing out at these tournaments! These girls are proving that small-town vibes don’t mean small-town talent. 💪🥎

The talent, heart, and fight coming out of Casa Grande is something special, and we couldn’t be more proud to call these girls part of the Hotshots family!
