Boys Ballet Summer Intensive BBSI is a pre-professional ballet program designed specifically for the male dancer.

BBSI is uniquely designed for male dancers in a positive learning environment. The program provides personalized training by internationally and nationally recognized instructors and professional dancers.

Our tenth anniversary gala performance was nothing short of incredible, featuring SIXTEEN professionals from all over the world including some of our esteemed BBSI alumni. Today, we celebrate Daphne Horvat, one of our BBSI Ladies Excellence Award winners for 2026.  Daphne is a student at the ABT JKO School & has attended our program for years.

We’re so proud to celebrate Daphne’s dedication, artistry, and stellar performance in our 10th Anniversary Show. She demonstrated grace, diligence, positivity, and a radiant sense of self that is inspiring to us all. Your future is bright.

An unforgettable celebration ten years in the making.

We are incredibly grateful to these fourteen professional dancers who joined us onstage, sharing their extraordinary artistry and undeniable talents, helping make this milestone performance so special.

A heartfelt thank you to the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts for welcoming us and providing such a beautiful home for our tenth anniversary celebration.

Lastly to our remarkable choreographers; thank you for entrusting our dancers with your beautiful works. It was an immense honor to bring such iconic works and world premieres to the North Carolina audience.

Here’s to the next decade of BBSI excellence.

To our wonderful students, dedicated and world-class faculty, supportive parents, and tireless volunteers, your passion, hard work, and generosity you all brought to this milestone will not be forgotten. We would also like to share a heartfelt thank you to the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts for welcoming us and providing such a beautiful venue for this celebration.

Seeing these extraordinarily talented dancers come together onstage made our tenth anniversary special even more meaningful. What a joy it is to celebrate how far BBSI has come, surrounded by so many people who have helped make it possible.

With our third intensive week underway and our performance coming up fast, let’s take a moment to sincerely thank ADC IBC for their continued support of BBSI. Through this multi-year partnership we can extend acceptances and scholarships to the nation’s next generation of professionals, while scouting for unique talent and hard working students. One of ballet’s most thrilling steps comes with a whole lot of challenges and prerequisites to execute properly and consistently. The clearest way to progress one’s turns is to prioritize the alignment of the passé, a clear spot, an engaged and active standing side, and constant use of turnout on one’s standing leg. Here, our gentlemen at BBSI provide a wonderful visual aide, great job everyone 👏🏻
