After hunting hard for 4 days and having several bucks not cooperate, we found this buck, and .corliss capitalized on the opportunity. We also made some memories having Billy's son Braxton along for the hunt.

We had to practice a lot of patience on this bull. After asking several times, "What's the plan?" we decided to write the script. Brad Angst and put in a lot of tough miles throughout the week, and after seeing a lot of country and bunch of bulls, Brad was able to make a great shot on this bull. Alex Kaliniak came to NM looking for a special sheep. We found this ram mid day, and after getting in position for a shot, the herd somehow disappeared. We were able to find them early the next morning, and Alex was able to seal the dea on this old warrior. Congratulations, Alex on a true public land giant.

Maddie Marquis drew her youth Oryx tag and came out to hunt with . After some close calls and watching several herds run off like their lives depended on it, Maddie made a great 520 yd shot and got it done on a good one. We had an awesome hunt and some unforgettable memories were made. I look forward to hunting with you and your family many, many more times in the future.

Thank you, , mihoutfitting, and , for letting tag along on your rifle elk hunt. We hunted hard and couldn't pass the opportunity when this bull stepped out. What a great ending to an awesome hunt. Made some lifelong friends, and I hope that we get the chance to do it again.
