Good afternoon,

Tomorrow evening is the first day of our Youth Speed and Agility Camp, and I want to personally welcome all of our athletes and families!

Our goal over the next few weeks is simple: build confidence, improve performance, and grow in faith. Whether you're one of the fastest athletes on the field or just beginning your athletic journey, Training Worx is a place where effort, character, and perseverance matter most.

Throughout camp, we will be timing each athlete through multiple drills. Remember, we're not competing against each other—we're competing against the athlete we were yesterday. Progress is the goal!

Come ready to learn, encourage your teammates, and give your best effort. Be sure to bring plenty of water, wear athletic shoes or cleats, and arrive with a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard.

For camp, athletes will be dropped off at the start of each session and picked up promptly when camp concludes. This allows our coaches to keep athletes focused and engaged throughout training while ensuring a safe and organized environment.

Parents, thank you for trusting us with your athletes. We are honored to pour into them both athletically and spiritually, and we can't wait to see what they accomplish over the coming weeks.

‼️ Also, it's not too late to sign up for Saturday's camp! If you know someone who would benefit from Training Worx, invite them to join us. We'd love to welcome more athletes into the program.

Verse of the Week:
"But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded."
— 2 Chronicles 15:7

ON GOD'S TEAM, PLAYERS DON'T QUIT
Now, Let's get to work! 💪🏃‍♂️🔥

Meet our junior trainer, Emma Turk, a 15-year-old freshman at Edgewood High School. Emma is a dedicated multi-sport athlete competing in cross country, track and field, basketball, and volleyball. As a freshman, she earned varsity positions in both track and cross country while contributing at the JV level in basketball and volleyball.

In track and field, Emma competes in the long jump, 100-meter dash, 4x100 relay, and 4x200 relay. She is currently ranked as the second fastest female sprinter in her district and has continued to achieve strong performances throughout the season. Among her accomplishments, she has consistently placed in the top three at district competitions.

Emma’s athletic success began in middle school, where she placed in the 100-meter dash at every meet, as well as being voted “Most Athletic” by her peers.
In addition to her individual accomplishments, she has contributed to successful team seasons in basketball and volleyball, helping her teams advance deep into the playoffs.

Competing in multiple sports has helped Emma develop strong leadership, teamwork, discipline, and determination. She brings energy, encouragement, and a strong work ethic to every training session, making her a great role model for younger athletes.

Beyond athletics, Emma also serves as a volunteer on the Radiant Kids Ministry team, where she enjoys investing in and encouraging children through faith and mentorship.

We are so excited to have her on our team!

Welcome to Training Worx — where young athletes are built for speed, confidence, and performance.
At Training Worx, our focus is simple: help athletes move faster, react quicker, and perform better on the field. This program is designed to develop essential athletic skills through structured speed and agility training in a fun, competitive environment.
Throughout the camp, athletes will work on explosive movements, change of direction, and proper running mechanics using proven drills. We will also track progress with timed performance tests, including the 20-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, and the box cone drill. These measurements allow athletes to see real improvement and stay motivated as they grow.
Whether your athlete is just starting or looking to gain an edge, Training Worx is here to push them to the next level — one sprint, one drill, and one rep at a time.
