Leidijks Waldo
14.1h 5 yr old German Riding Pony
Waldo is a charming young pony with a bright future. He was imported from Germany as a three year-old where he was started under saddle. When he was brought to the state, he started his career as a driving pony. His owner decided that Waldo would rather be a riding pony and sent him to us to get him started in his new career. 
Waldo is going well at the walk, trot, and canter and has just been started over small fences (jumping 18”-2’ currently). He has started on changes both ways. Over fences he has natural ability and is brave to the fences. I could see him making a career in either dressage, eventing, or the Hunter/Jumper rings but he would be happy to go wherever his rider wanted to go. Waldo has been ridden by both professionals and juniors and could be great for a junior in a program to bring along. 
He is very well mannered and a joy to have in the barn. Stands for an 11-year-old to bathe him, stands to be braided, clips, ties, loads in the trailer, and stands for the Vet and Farrier. He is a super easy keeper
