Ahh breeding season….

The tools of survival.

We bred our last mare for this year! (Still standing Snowden for outside mares). 14 days and we hopefully will have a conception!

Breeding is a big commitment, mentally, financially, your time, logistics and emotions. The long days and nights, missed functions, the highs and lows of breeding and foaling are a commitment we’ve made to produce quality horses for our own program and yours.

As we focus on our foals from this year watch for pictures and videos of their progress. It will be time to wean and decide who to sell and who to keep very soon!

Zan you’re such a funny boy!

YOUR ZAN STRAIT. Owned by Jeff and Janelle. (who are very graciously allowing me to ride him). He was the start of our breeding program! His dam is DJR STRAIT ZAN DIVA and she still stands as one of our great broodmares - she’s lots of fun to ride also! Diva had a super nice buckskin c**t this year who is impressive!
