My heart is heavy with the news of the passing of my good friend Dave Howat. Longtime scorekeeper at Firelands High School. Organist for several churches, and all around great guy. Dave was one of a kind, and would always help a friend out, no matter what they needed. He loved his Fair-Play scoreboards, and he had a garage full of older scoreboards, parts and other basketball collectables. He helped our company win several big jobs up north, and was always willing to grab a ladder and change a processor to help a rival school. I will miss his laugh, his wit and his council. My sincere condolences to his wife, mother and sister.
