It was great to see the Tour Des Tree group who stopped in Cadillac this week during their long 400+ mile trek from Grand Rapids to Glen Arbor and back! They had lunch catered in by the Blue Heron Cafe.

For several centuries, the Odawa People have been on these shores and in the woods and hills of this land. We are living amid the places from which spring the stories of our world, ourselves, our families, and our tribal nation.

🌲 Trail Spotlight of the Week 🌲
MacKenzie Trail!

Discover the beauty of the MacKenzie Trail, a scenic 10-mile adventure perfect for every season! In the warmer months, enjoy hiking, biking, and exploring its diverse terrain. When winter arrives, the trail is open for snowshoeing and XC skiing. It is now a signed connector with winter seasonal access from Caberfae. Following their golf course cart path, the trail connects to marker #21.

Nestled at the base of Caberfae Peaks and winding through the heart of the Manistee National Forest, the MacKenzie Trail offers a peaceful escape. Located on 38 Mile Road, just 1 mile west of Caberfae.
