Our tournament was cut short due to rain but the girls came out with a split between the two games they got to play.

Game 1: Sabercats Aebig 12U 2 - South Farmington Bombers 6

Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U were the first to get on the board in the first when Hadley B hit into a double play, but one run scored.

South Farmington Bombers 12U flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a triple by Julia S that drove in two.

South Farmington Bombers 12U added one run in the third after Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U committed an error.

Lexie M earned the win for South Farmington Bombers 12U. The right-handed pitcher surrendered two hits and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking two. Skilar B took the loss for Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U. The starter went two innings, giving up five runs (two earned) on three hits, striking out four and walking one.

Bryar S led Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U with one run batted in. Amaiya R and Skilar each collected one hit for Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U. Avery C stole two bases.

Julia, Lexie, and Amelia S each collected one hit for South Farmington Bombers 12U. Julia and Ella T each drove in one run for South Farmington Bombers 12U. South Farmington Bombers 12U turned one double play in the game. South Farmington Bombers 12U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Julianna A had the most chances in the field with five.

Game 2: Sabercats Aebig 12U 11 - Krash 11U Hansbarger 1

Skilar B collected three hits in three at bats, as Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U defeated Krash 11u Hansbarger 11-1 on Sunday at Canton Sports Center. Skilar doubled in the second inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning.

Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U scored seven runs in the second inning on the way to victory. Avery C singled, scoring one run, Allie D drew a walk, scoring one run, Skilar doubled, scoring two runs, Hadley B singled, scoring two runs, and Bryar S grounded out, scoring one run.

Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Skilar singled down the right field line, and Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.

Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Allie tripled to left field, and Skilar singled up the middle, each scoring one run.

Kendyl J earned the win for Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U. The left-handed pitcher gave up two hits and one run over one and one-third innings, striking out three and walking two. Stella M took the loss for Krash 11u Hansbarger. The starter went three innings, surrendering 11 runs (10 earned) on 12 hits, striking out three and walking three. Allie threw one and two-thirds innings of shutout ball for Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U in relief. The reliever surrendered one hit, striking out three and walking one.

Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U tallied 12 hits in the game. Avery and Deonna N each collected multiple hits for Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U. Deonna stole two bases. Michigan Sabercats Aebig 12U were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Avery made the most plays with six.

Gia S, Alexis H, and Vanessa M each collected one hit for Krash 11u Hansbarger. Emily K stole two bases.
