KARA PAPPAL
    Kara Pappal is graduating as a Scholar of Distinction from Hollidaysburg Area High School in Hollidaysburg, PA. Kara was also a part of our traveling team this season.
Kara began dancing at age two and has danced competitively for eleven years.
Kara (and her sister Kayla) joined Evolve this past year and she quickly became part of our EFC fam. She says that this past year has made an “everlasting impact on her course of life, and was made possible by the team around her and the incredible choreographers with which she has had the privilege to work.”
She truly was a joy to work with and was eager to grow and be challenged this season. Furthermore, Kara believes “the opportunities and experiences provided by EDC have given her tremendous personal growth in her confidence and dancing ability.” 🤍💖✨

    Kara will be attending Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA where she will pursue a B.S. in Biological Science in the Pre-Medical and Health Professions program with the intention of going on to medical school.  Kara hopes to become an emergency medicine physician in the future. She will truly be missed but we know she will do amazing things in this next chapter of her journey!
We love you Kara!!!✨And are so proud of your growth and commitment this season!!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🤍✨✨
SYDNEY GREENFIELD

Sydney graduated this year from Downingtown Stem Academy.
Sydney joined evolve in 2021
as a part of our national traveler team. Sydney has traveled back and forth from near Philadelphia PA for 5 years.
Both her mom Ashley and Sydney have truly become like family. Sydneys drive and determination to learn and grow into the best dancer she could possibly be is what has lead her here today. She is one of our strongest and, adaptable dancers and we are beyond proud of her. She also has an amazing work ethic which never goes unnoticed.
Her first class was actually on Zoom with Chelsea during Covid and as her mom says… it was love at first dance!
Sydney received a $10,000 scholarship and early admission to CLI Conservatory where she will be attending in the fall.
Her hopes are to be a traveling back up dancer and work touring with top name artists!
We will miss her tremendously but know we will see her name in lights one day!

🌟SENIOR SPOTLIGHT🌟
Malachi Connolly… where do we begin. Malachi has been dancing since he was about 3 years old. You could find him frequently dressing up and dancing for hours around the house. He could dance all day! His formal training started with Irish step dancing. That must be where his musicality originated. After a year or 2 he finally began training in all genres of dance. Malachi joined Evolve the summer of 2024 and the rest is history! We fell in love with his passion and his artistry. Always eager to learn and grow… he has developed over the past 2 years into the most amazingly talented and creative machine!! You cannot help but stop dead in your tracks when he is performing. His dynamics and musicality are mesmerizing. This year Malachi received a $15,000 scholarship to CLI Conservatory where he will be attending in the fall. CLI is an elite, 10-month pre-professional dance training program that bridges the gap between traditional training and a professional dance career by preparing advanced dancers aged 17+ for both the commercial and concert dance.
We will most miss his sense of humor… his kind heart and his gifted performances.
We know you will do great things Malachi!! We love you and will always be your biggest fans!! 💫❤️🌟

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🌟 💫💫
ANTHONY HUNT
When you watch Anthony dance one would think he has been dancing forever… but ironically he began dancing at the age of 12.
What started as a desire to learn how to flip like a superhero through gymnastics quickly led him to discover dance—and he fell in love with it immediately.
Since then, dance has become his greatest passion and a huge part of who he is. You cannot help but immerse yourself into his performances as he draws you in with his fierceness and attack of every movement. You FEEL his passion when he dances and that is something not all dancers can translate.
Anthony joined EDC last summer and has truly found a second home here. His humor and joy is completely contagious! In just one year, he has experienced tremendous growth, both as a dancer and as a person, and he is “incredibly grateful for the supportive and inspiring environment that EDC has provided.”
His work ethic, commitment and consistency is like no other. Traveling from Ohio daily, we think we can count on one hand the days he has missed of classes this whole season.
Looking ahead, Anthony plans to move to Los Angeles and pursue his professional dance career.
As a signed artist with MSA, he hopes to continue auditioning, choreographing, and assisting at dance conventions. Above all, he dreams of traveling the world, sharing his love for dance, and continuing to grow through every opportunity that comes his way.
To say we will miss him is an understatement. The dance space won’t be the same without him, for the dancers or the faculty. You are truly loved and admired Anthony! We cannot wait to see what the world has in store for you next!!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: MAKAYLA COHOL

Makayla began dancing at just four years old and has developed a strong passion for performance and storytelling through movement. While she loves contemporary dance… hip hop and jazz funk have always been her defining styles due to her powerful performance quality and stage presence.
Makayla joined Evolve last summer and has been an amazing addition/asset to our team! She suffered a knee injury this year mid season… but her determination and dedication to her craft and team was beyond inspiring. Makayla would still come to class consistently … sit in a chair doing combos and choreography never missing rehearsals. Her work ethic and passion shine so bright from within her✨… and is undeniable. We only wish we had more years with her!
In July, Makayla will be moving to Los Angeles to pursue a professional dance career.  She is thrilled to have been accepted into LA Establishment’s
“Establish You” training program. “Establish You” is an elite, 10-month professional commercial dance training program by LA ESTABLISHMENT.
She knows she always will have a home here to return to and we will be loudly cheering 📣 her on from here!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT⭐️
AVA BRICELAND .briceland_dancer
Ava Briceland is graduating Magna Cum Laude from Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown, Ohio. Ava began dancing at 3 years old and trains in all styles of dance. Ava joined EDC last summer and it feels like she has danced with us a lifetime. She mentions that “this year has been filled with personal growth, tremendous learning, and so much love in an uplifting and encouraging environment!”
We have enjoyed every minute watching her dance and grow this year and only wish we had more years left with her.
But she knows she will always have a dance family here at Evolve to return to.
Ava will be attending Chapman University in Orange, California the next four years where she will pursue a B.A. in dance as well as a B.A. in Health Science. Ava is committed to pursuing a professional career in dance. In the future, she hopes to guide young artists in their path of health and mental wellness while dancing.
