Take you back again this week to before we knew how the 2000’s would pan out! Bear Lynch he was successful in the ProTruck and in the late model! So many times he was driving double duty and had to switch from one to the other, but made himself known in a competitive field week in and week out! Ran into him many years later at dyno pro this year looks like race cars never leave our blood !!! Eat,Drink,Sleep Racing!

One of my favorite drivers growing up!!! Bruce the Moose!!! I will say season in and season out he always gave everyone a run for their money! That green on the black car is iconic! I honestly couldn’t tell you how many championships probably more than I could count, but I personally know he has raced for 25+ years and that is an accomplishment in itself racing is something you can’t do alone and the amount of hours it takes to have your race car under the lights on Saturday.

We now have a GAM engine in our protruck and earlier in the year Bruce had a fuel pump on the shelf for us ready to go!

A blast from the past!!!! For the next few weeks I’m going to post some inspiration from when I was 7-12 ish! We spent every weekend at the track the hot July nights to the cool nights in October! Week in and week out! I remember Dave Deines and Paul Deines they were always battling the field 7 and 17! Something about the sevens stuck with us at Double Seven Racing 77 watching racing made the week feel long and the weekends feel short Colorado National Speedway

Last Race of the season Recap-

Made some decent changes in practice and the truck didn’t feel right but that practice ended decently fast! Go out in the next practice and something felt off crazy you can check everything twice and it can be running good before you park it, and then out of the blue the clutch didn’t want to hold the power from the engine! After the crew Andy Cribbs Dominic Guerrieri swapped the clutch with one that I had as a spare we just missed out on qualifying but had it all back together to make the race! Rain came all the way from Boulder and didn’t let up for a while but we were ready! The rain stopped and I tried to get some laps drying the track to see if it was better and had to push start it! I thought the little slipping was from the tires being wet parked it and was ready for the race. Due to the delay we decided to do a 50 lap race for championship night! All ready to start the show and green flag comes out and the spare clutch was just as bad as the original! But we stayed out of the way for 50 laps it by far was one of the longest races! We secured ROTY and had a few uphill battles this season but all and all it was a year I won’t forget! We got a chance to see it all this season!

I want to thank my crew with a million things they could be doing all summer they decided to spend their days at the track in the middle of the July heat!!!

Race Recap!

Woohooooo finally made it though a race since mid season things went well! Practice was good although 1st practice had some oil on the track and sent us for a wild ride out of turn 2! Second practice we were finally able to make some adjustments! I repeat we were finally able to make some adjustments! Heat race was good pushed a little and 2 trucks drove under me every lap has to almost be perfect one slip up and you get passed! We were ready for the main!! The truck is starting to feel good and we are going to continue off of it!!! Stands were packed for this race and I have never seen a crowd so wild around lap 19 (reminded me of racing growing up) some people picked one side some people picked the other side some people didn’t want to be in the middle of it! All and all the fans went crazy (right or wrong) and it shows how much emotion is in racing! And how much time is invested in racing! I want to thank every fan in the stands without them we wouldn’t be able to put on a show! I want to thank my crew! One more race left in this rookie season! I definitely couldn’t have made it without you guys!!
