We swung for the fences in the Friday night session, but the starting line had other plans. The Snap-on Dodge Hellcat overpowered the track early, forcing us to shut it off before we could show what the car was capable of.

The silver lining is that Q3 has been moved up to 11:30 AM tomorrow, which should give us cooler conditions and another shot to move this team back up the qualifying order. Rip, Warrior, and the entire Cruz Pedregon Racing crew will get after it tonight and come back ready tomorrow.

Lights are going down here at the track, and that can only mean one thing…

It’s time to turn up the wick for Q2. Night session is coming, conditions are getting better, and we’re ready to take another swing with the Snap-on Dodge Hellcat.

Q1. P1. That’s how you start a race weekend.

Rip, Warrior, and Cruz put a tune-up in the Snap-on Tools Dodge Hellcat that sent it right down the groove like it was driving down a dirt road. The result? A 4.00-second pass at 319 MPH to grab the provisional #1 spot and put us at the back of the pack heading into tonight’s second qualifying session.

We’ve got more work to do, but it’s a great start for this team. Time to get ready for Q2 and see if we can hang onto that top spot.

It’s Fast Friday at New England Dragway!

We’re excited to get the Snap-on Tools Dodge SRT Hellcat Nitro Funny Car on track for the first day of qualifying at the NHRA New England Nationals.

We’ve got two qualifying sessions on tap today:
⏰ Q1 – 5:30 PM
⏰ Q2 – 8:00 PM

The team has been hard at work getting ready for a great weekend in Epping, and we’re looking forward to making some strong runs under the lights tonight.

Who’s ready for some nitro this weekend?! 🔥

The Cruz Pedregon Racing team is already at New England Dragway & Motorsports Park getting everything set up for a big weekend in Epping. The Snap-on Tools Dodge is unloaded, the pit is coming together, and before long we’ll be firing up 12,000 horsepower.

If you’re in the area, come spend your weekend with us and experience NHRA Funny Car racing at its finest.

It is with great sadness that Cruz Pedregon Racing has learned of the passing of Mike Burris of Burris Racing.

Our sincere condolences go out to Kurt, Michelle, Derek, and the entire Burris family during this difficult time.

Mike was a tremendous part of our racing journey, dating back to our earliest days in karting and continuing throughout our professional racing careers. He was always there with encouragement, support, and a genuine passion for helping racers succeed.

Through his dedication to the sport, Mike made an immeasurable impact on the karting community. The products, equipment, and knowledge he provided helped countless racers chase their dreams. More importantly, Mike was a great friend to many and someone who always cared deeply about the people in our sport.

His passion for racing, commitment to helping others, and unwavering support of racers at every level created a legacy that will live on for generations.

Mike will be greatly missed, but the memories, friendships, and impact he leaves behind will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Burris family.
