What a fun day on the Umatilla II, Dash and Nauti-Lady. Some nice kings for Capt. Rye, and a shark story the customers on board will be telling for years. The Umatilla II made the long-range run, with limits of nice rockfish and some lingcod. The Nauti-Lady ran a local half-day trip with a surprising number of lingcod and limits of nice rockfish, plus bonus crab on the way in. Longtime customer Bob made his first trip back on the boats after his surgery, and caught a limit of lingcod and limit of rockfish.

Great action on our long-range bottom fishing and salmon charters today. The Umatilla II made the trip to Mack Arch for nice limits of rockfish with some lingcod mixed in. Beautiful ocean and great fishing on the northern range of our fishing area. The Miss Brooke made the run to Point St. George Reef for a jumbo grade of rockfish and lots of lingcod mixed in. The Dash stayed closer to the harbor, focusing on salmon. Saturday’s morning forecast is looking good, and all of our boats will be running.
