Had the pleasure of two very long tenured Odell fisher-women, Marcia and Gail from Redmond, Oregon on the boat with me today. Both of their husbands are retired Air Force Colonel. Thank you for your service.
What a neat day to sit and listen to all the different stories Marcia and Gail had about the lake, life and everything in-between.
You will see Gail’s shirt in the picture. I have to say I agree! If you know, well you know.
We got on the water about 530 am. Bite didn’t really take off until 630 am. It was steady but wasn’t hot and heavy, but between Marcia and Gail both jumping and screaming when a fish hit—-“hey hey you got one” there was plenty of laughing and bantering. I even got hit by Gail because she lost a fish right behind the boat. I mean it took me a second to realize I had just been fish slapped by Gail! So now throughout the day Gail became the victim of my sarcasm. But it was all in good fun. 🤩 Today was kokanee kid pink twisted hoochie show.
I can’t remember a day where I had so much fun and enjoyed myself. I was bummed when the day was over. These ladies are real fishing machines. They booked on the boat for next August and I can’t wait! These ladies are just too much fun!
They brought home 30 nice silver bars. Most of which were good quality fish for Odell this year. Can’t wait until next August to have Marcia and Gail back on board.
The tug is the drug!
