Consider this your astrological class recommendation. ✨

We matched each zodiac sign with the Anahata class that feels most like them, then added a few personality traits and studio habits that felt a little too accurate. 😂

Now we need the real data.

What’s your sign, and what Anahata class do you actually take most? 💚

Swipe through, find yours, and tag the friend whose slide fits them perfectly.

Current status: cultured and stretched. ✨

This morning we traded the studio walls for a museum backdrop and flowed surrounded by art, architecture, and such a great group of people.

There’s something really special about practicing in a space that makes you slow down, look around, and take it all in.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and made the morning what it was. 💚
Definitely one for the memory bank.

If you were there, describe this morning in one word. 👇✨

September is looking SO good. 💚

A new month means more chances to move, connect, try something new, and spend time together both inside the studio and out in the community.

Here’s what’s coming up:

✨ September 5
Yoga at Milwaukee Art Museum
8:00 to 9:00 AM

✨ September 19
Handstand Workshop guided by Chandler | Milwaukee Yoga & Pilates
12:30 to 2:00 PM

✨ September 25
Anahata Social Club 002
Sleepover Edition
6:30 to 8:30 PM

For this month’s Social Club, think restore + sound, eye masks, cozy energy, and pajamas encouraged. Basically, a grown-up sleepover with a very Anahata twist. 💚

Come comfy, come ready to unwind, and come spend the evening with us.

Save this post so you have all the dates, send it to the friend you want to bring, and tell us which September event you’re most excited for. ✨

One month of Anahata. 🤍

It’s wild to think that just a month ago, we were opening these doors for the very first time.

Since then, this space has become so much more than a studio.

We’ve watched people walk in not knowing anyone and leave having made a new connection. We’ve seen first classes, little wins, big breakthroughs, lots of sweat, lots of laughter, and plenty of moments where people simply gave themselves permission to slow down.

That was always the dream.

To create a space that felt welcoming. A place where you could come exactly as you are, move, breathe, connect, and feel like you belong.

And none of this would be what it is without our incredible teachers. Thank you for bringing your own energy, heart, creativity, and care into this space every single day. You’ve helped make Anahata feel like home just as much as anyone.

Looking back at opening weekend now feels even more special because it was the beginning of all of this.

Thank you to every person who has taken a class, brought a friend, shared a post, come to an event, sent a kind message, or simply walked through our doors this past month.

You’ve helped turn Anahata from a dream into a community.

Happy one month to us. 🦋

And somehow, it still feels like we’re just getting started.

✨ Crow, but make the transitions the practice ✨

Crow pose is already a challenge in strength, balance, and trust. Add a transition, and suddenly the focus becomes even more about control, patience, and how you move between shapes.

A few ways we’ve been playing with it:
Crow → Chaturanga
Crow → Tripod Egg → Tripod Headstand
Crow → Wide-Leg Forward Fold
Warrior III → Crow
Crow → Skandasana

Each transition asks for something a little different, whether it’s core control, shoulder stability, balance, mobility, or simply the confidence to shift your weight and see what happens.

You don’t have to nail every transition for it to count. Sometimes the practice is just exploring the space between where you are and where you’re going. 💚

Save this for your next arm balance practice and try the transition that feels most interesting to you.
