Learn to Play Mahjong at BPC!

Ready to learn the game everyone is talking about? Pickles & Pungs is a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to American Mahjong, designed to take you from brand new to confident enough to sit down and play!

This comprehensive class includes two 3-hour sessions and everything you need to learn the game. Over the course of the two sessions, you’ll learn how to:

* Understand the tiles, suits, and terminology
* Read and use the Mahjong card
* Set up and start a game
* Build a winning hand
* Understand Charleston and passing
* Learn Pungs, Kongs, Jokers, and other key concepts
* Develop basic strategy
* Play complete games with guided instruction

No experience or equipment is necessary. We’ll provide everything you need to learn and play, with plenty of hands-on practice and guidance along the way.

Whether you’ve been curious about Mahjong, want to learn so you can join friends who already play, or are simply looking for a fun new social activity, Pickles & Pungs is the perfect place to start!

Club Cup 26 is in the books! BPC takes home Bronze! 🥉

Congratulations to Varsity Pickleball on securing the victory today! They played hard and were great competitors all season.

We are so proud of the Brighton Barrage. This team has worked hard over the last seven weeks. The coaches, captains, players, and the cheerleaders who came out and supported us every match. The dedication was unmatched. Extra practices, team-first mentality, going above and beyond to show up when needed. This community is unparalleled and we are beyond grateful.

The Club Cup is special – – and we are so glad to be a part of it. We were able to work with and play with so many amazing clubs through this experience.

Congratulations Brighton Barrage – – from starting off at the bottom of the standings after week one, to earning a playoff spot, to taking home the bronze – – what an incredible journey. Go Barrage! 🐺

It’s go time!!

The Brighton Barrage is ready to leave it all on the court. Seven weeks of training, competing, and growing together as a team all comes down to today.

No matter what – – is going to be a great day for BPC! Come cheer on the players at 1 PM at Greystone Pickleball Club Of Auburn Hills.

It’s playoff day! 🔥

After seven weeks of hard work and competition, today is the day that determines the winner of the Club Cup. 🏆

128 players from around the State of Michigan will take to the courts today to compete for the championship. It’s been an incredible season with 11 clubs participating and it all comes down to this.

We were honored to have Dayne Gingrich and Jill Martin Pickleball Yogi out to Brighton Pickleball Club today to host a private clinic and spend some time with our coaches sharing The Pickleball Mindset.

They’re incredibly knowledgeable about the game and all-around awesome people!

Dayne took home the Silver medal at the Senior Pro Men’s Division and Gold in Mixed Doubles at the APP Detroit this weekend. Congratulations Dayne and thanks to you and Jill for making Brighton Pickleball Club a stop on your journey through Michigan.

🍀 We were lucky to host Wolverine Pickleball this past Sunday in the 5th week of the Michigan Club Cup series.

It was a fun day full of friendly competition! Multiple dream-breakers kept the event exciting down to the final minutes!

Congratulations to Wolverine Pickleball on their victory! 🥇They won 36-31 after keeping us on the edge of our seats all day. Great competitors!

The final matchup of the regular season is this Sunday and we are hosting Plymouth Pickleball at BPC.

Will we be able to earn the wildcard spot in the playoffs? 🃏
