We are here at Life Time Big Sugar Classic to appreciate the effort of all the athletes pushing their limits out there, and to also show to the crowd our developing system here at MarginalGain in collaboration with Blackwater Bicycles | Titanium, the ORIENT chainring. There’s been a lot of questions about this unique concept, and to address the elephant in room; this is only a PROTOTYPE! This specific version is not the final version that we want to promote as the finish product, available soon for pre-orders on our website. This is just a demonstration of the chain management concept, and we believe this same concept can be applied in a multitude of configurations, what is your take? What configuration would you run with this? We believe this is 1x 16sp cassette enablement. We also appreciate the collaboration with Gulo equipping this bike with their amazing carbon wheels&spokes setup! Good stuff right there.

We’re $7,000 from the finish line. And right now, the next $2,000 counts double!

The Brookshire Garside Group at Baird is matching every dollar donated to the Catalyst Sports adaptive bike build, up to $2,000.

We’ve raised $13,000 of our $20,000 goal, and this match could close more than half of the remaining gap.

What are we building?

Two adaptive bikes. One will join the fleet here in Western North Carolina, helping more riders get out on the trails.

The second will be built LIVE at CRAFTED on Sunday, September 27, and gifted to an unsuspecting member of the community.

This is one of the things we’re most excited to be part of at CRAFTED.

Help us get to $20,000 by August 30. Every dollar counts, and right now, every dollar counts twice!

Donate at the link in bio.

A huge thank you to The Brookshire Garside Group at Baird for stepping up with the match.

Sometimes the biggest innovations come from the smallest components.

Meet Gulo, a local Brevard company behind the G-Spoke, a carbon composite spoke designed to reduce vibration and smooth out the ride. By absorbing more road and trail chatter than traditional metal spokes, the G-Spoke helps improve comfort, control, and confidence on every ride.

Meet the team from Gulo Composites and see their work up close at CRAFTED this September.
