Our mission is to prepare, inspire, develop, and educate our young volleyball players. Through physical training, and with special attention given to the mental aspects of the game, we will be the inspiration for their success. Thunder Bay Volleyball Academy will be a place where every athlete will be trained to elevate their play to the peak of their abilities while being coached and treated with

dignity and respect. We will create a positive, but intense training environment that will encourage and fuel their desire to compete physically and mentally in preparation for the next level in college. We will accomplish this by focusing on meaningful and time honored training. We will teach our kids to be students of the game. We will not only focus on their skill sets, we will build well rounded athletes by preparing them for future opportunities at the next level at all positions. We are a diverse organization comprised of a wide range of experienced coaches and staff. Our coaching staff consist of international players with varying levels of coaching expertise (Please see coach’s corner). Our staff ranges from military leaders to local small business owners that have managed nonprofit organizations for over 14 years. The staff and coaches are representative of the diverse population that we tout here in the Tampa Bay area. We will be the model of efficiency for our parents and kids, and at all times we will ensure that the focus of our efforts is right where it belongs; with the positive growth of our kids.

What a fun weekend on the court and off the court for Coach Sue’s U-10 Team!🏐💙 The girls placed Gold in the Silver Bracket at Asics Florida Volleyball Challenge. The girls worked hard, played hard, and fought hard. Such a great end to our season. Congrats girls!

A big shoutout to Coach Adriana’s 12U Team for their performance at Tampa Slam this weekend. These ladies had an amazing performance, and Coach Adriana says she is “super happy to see the progress of this amazing group of players who are playing on their first season.”
