Exciting 4th round vs a tough opponent. Upon launching, I knew my reaction time was decent yet the other car was still a car length ahead as we passed half track. To avoid giving the opponent a chance to lift of the gas, I resorted to the scramble button which adds 8psi of boost instantly to catch up to him and make it seem like a dead even race. 66’ before the finish line, I laid on the brakes pretty hard to slow down the ET that I gained from using the scramble button. Fortunately, our strategy worked and the opponent broke out by .04 and I was over my dial by .01
4ta ronda muy emocionante contra un oponente fuerte. Al salir de la línea, sabía que mi reacción fue decente pero íbamos por mitad de pista y el otro carro seguía a lante por mucho. Para evitar darle oportunidad que el pudiese empezar a quitar, le di al botón “scramble” que instantáneamente añade 8lb de boost para alcanzarlo y enseñarle una carrera pareja. Cuando llegamos a 66’ de la meta, le di fuertemente al freno para evitar romper récord luego de adelantar con el “scramble”. Afortunadamente, la estrategia funcionó y el oponente rompió récord por .04 y yo corrí .01 por encima de mi dial.
