🎤💜 MONDAY SINGING TIP OF THE DAY: DON’T SKIP YOUR WARM-UP!

Just like your body needs to warm up before exercise, your voice needs time to get ready to sing! 🎶

Before jumping into your favorite song, spend a few minutes gently waking up your voice.

Try starting with:

🎵 Gentle humming — Keep it easy and relaxed.
💋 Lip trills — Let your lips buzz without forcing the sound.
🎢 Easy slides or sirens — Glide comfortably from low to high and back down.
🎹 Light vocal scales — Start in a comfortable part of your range.

Remember, warming up isn't about singing louder or higher. The goal is to prepare your voice gradually and comfortably.

🌟🎤🎹 STUDENT SPOTLIGHT THROWBACK — DENZEL! 🎹🎤🌟

Taking it back to one of my talented students from Ms. Yetta’s Voice & Piano Studio Recital! 💜

Denzel originally came to me as a piano student, but along the way, I helped him discover something else — he could SING! 🎤✨

Once we discovered his voice, there was no stopping him!

Denzel took Michael Jackson’s “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)” to the NEXT LEVEL! 🔥 Not only did he show off his beautiful voice, but he brought the performance to life with his dance moves, personality, confidence, and stage presence. 🕺🏽🎶

Moments like this are one of the reasons I love teaching. Sometimes a student comes to you for one thing, and through music education, you uncover a completely different gift they didn’t even realize was there. 💜

🎤 We discovered his voice.

Give your young singer a place to learn, sing, build confidence, and have FUN!

Live Online Group Voice Class | Ages 5–8

This isn't just a sing-along! Students receive age-appropriate vocal instruction while learning and performing Disney favorites in a fun, supportive small-group environment. 💜

📅 Fridays | 10:30 - 11: 15 & 4:15–5:00 PM ET
💻 LIVE Online via Zoom
💲 Only $25 per class
🗓️ 4-week, month-to-month sessions
✨ New sessions begin the first Friday of every month

🎶 WHAT WILL YOUR CHILD LEARN?

Each class includes fun breathing exercises and vocal warm-ups while we develop:

During our final class, we'll put everything together and sing all three songs as a group! Students who want to can also perform a song or section individually and receive coaching and encouragement.

💜 Solos are completely optional. No child is ever pressured to sing alone. We're building confident young singers at their own pace!
