Yoga Nidra Deep Rest and Relaxation

Welcome, I am Stacey. In our busy and modern world sleep, Rest and Relaxation are often thought of as synonymous. However, rest is an act of conscious release. If you have trouble completely resting and letting go. Yoga Nidra is a great meditation for you. There is no movement in this practice. Simply follow my voice. Do not intellectualize my directions. Simply listen to the practice.

Got Scoliosis? Get strong!! Don't be afraid to challenge and use your body .

Our bodies are different everyday. Our activity or non- Activity can effect our posture. Therefore we have to tailor our workouts to what is now!!

Take the time to take care of your Mind, body and Spirit and then u can take care of everyone and everything!!

Standing exercises will help your body to ground and stabilize.. Do slow controled precise movements and don't forget to breathe !

Jump Squats are a more advanced plyometrics exercise. With practice they can be done correctly. Jumping is very correcting . Jumping strengthens your feet , legs and core!! IInfact when I'm achey I do plyometrics . It feels good to use my body!! If u need a modification or are ready to level up get intouch with me!

Finding Peace thru The 8 Limbs of Yoga

Before I became a Yoga Teacher my Yoga Practice was more exercise driven . It wasn't till I learned the theory and practice of Yoga thru studying and becoming a Yoga Teacher did I really understand what it was all about . So I wanted to share this with everyone. Strength Training with Scoliosis

Challenging my body into alignment with balance, breath and resistance.

Balance is the challenge! Inorder to Balance we must control our breathing. Most of the muscles affected by Scoliosis are the breathing muscles . Many of us have very shallow breathing. It is quite a regular thing! Breathing needs to be exercised like the rest our body .

Yoga Practice in combination with your strength program will train your Mind and Body to breathe and work as one.

Don't be afraid to balance. Balancing is so corrective!
This is an advanced exercise. Let me know if you need a modification to this level or if u want to get to this level. Level up!!!

Does Your B***y Need a Wake- Up Call?

If u don't use it, you will lose it!!

This is a great exercise to activate the Core and align the body . Great exercise for Scoliosis ( or anyone with special back conditions) and as a warm-up before lifting. Also can be done at home! So get off that b***y!

Make sure you feet are straight. Inhale when you bring your legs in and exhale when you press your legs out.

Hi Everyone, if you have never met me be before, I am Stacey. I wanted to share the truth about Yoga and how it can help you live a more enriched life .

Many are confused about Yoga and Practicing Yoga with their religion. Yoga is not a religion it is a Practice. A practice that teaches you more about your Mind, Body and Spirit using your breath as your anchor and strength.

Yoga helped me discover who I am and understand my own story and live in the Present moment with Acceptance . And most of all have , having Gratitude. I hope this message finds you well .

My ambition is to share to others that living with Severe Scoliosis you can still be athletic and strong!

If you have Scoliosis or any type of health issue and you find this post, I hope this message encourages you to keep going!!

This exercise I am demonstrating is a liitle more advanced as far as coordination and balance. (It is not only for Scoliosis). Alot of the general population get the same postural issues. This exercise is also great for athletes bringing strength and fluidity to the entire body.

Always start with Corrective Exercise. Once your foundation is strong, your body is ready to move and activated; your possibilities are endless! Strength Training is a very important part of taking control of your body and mind. It takes daily dedication. Daily dedication to our health. And that is for everyone!!!

Why does this exercise work well for Scoliosis?

Your entire body and Nervous System is activated!

I will be posting more strength exercises for Scoliosis. And they can be done by anyone but safe for anyone with back issues with proper preparation.
