A big thank you to Kevin Davis, Jim Harper, our partner Rob Hummer w/ Rodota Trucking & Excavating, and Washington Collision Center/Towing for their help today.

Had a major truck issue happen that left me on the side of the road. I hope to have a diagnosis by the end of the week, but with the formidable milky coolant everywhere, it would seem to me like a head gasket or EGR cooler let loose.

I am very thankful for the offers from others to utilize their truck for this weekend at Lernerville, but I declined those and we will not be making the tow.

There are too many things combined that are stacked against me to make it possible to give it my all, and I am not going to half ass the attempt, especially against a National touring group.

Sometimes, you just have to realize you need to pull back and regroup, and today sitting alongside of the road was one of those moments.

We will see everyone on Saturday, September 19th at Bridgeport Speedway for USAC East Coast action.

Was too busy to get on here and make any posts this weekend, so here is our weekend recap!

Saturday: Made the 10 hour cross Pennsylvania round trip to western PA to Blanket Hill Speedway in the Todd Berkheimer owned 270 micro in memory of my friends and former competitors, Brandon and Scott Hawkins for $2,737 to win.

Time Trials: 23rd/30
Heat Race: 8th/8th
B main: 5th ➡️ 4th
A main: 22nd (last) ➡️ 10th!

Thank you to Beatty Motorsports for the $100 longest haul award and another anonymous person for the $25 Sheetz gift card! It was great to see so many people that I don’t get to see often, and charge forward in the A main to a top 10! Thank you so much to Mnut Moyer and Dave Hawkins for the pit help!

Sunday: After leaving Blanket Hill at 11:55pm, stopping for fuel and food, 2 stops for some shuteye (3hrs total), & dropping Brian off, I got home and unloaded all of the 270 stuff to head to my parents to load up the sprint car. It was our final local event of the 2026 season just 20 minutes away at Action Track USA in Kutztown, PA. The pre race meet & greet paired with many of our partners and fans being in the pit area made the night very enjoyable!

Hot Laps: QUICKTIME/24
Heat Race: 5th ➡️ 4th
A main: 11th ➡️ 6th!

Another solid top 10 run after getting as high as 5th place. I was too good too early and the last half of the race I was hanging on a bit, but I know better of what I need to work on to improve for next season there! In 3 races there this season, we came away with two 6th place finishes with USAC EC and our career best 12th in USAC National 410 competition during Eastern Storm.

Thank you to my suit partner who I was able to bring onboard to USAC East Coast Sprint Cars this year, Butch Lamb at Radical Race Gear, for the $100 Hot Lap Hero bonus! Glad I was finally able to win it! Thank you to Dave Emili at Aw Shucks Roasted Corn for the $200 bonus for racing in what was supposed to be back to back events at Bridgeport (8/15) & Action Track (8/16, postponed to 8/30)! Thank you to Ed Steimling of TQ Fiberglass for their support of the series as I randomly drew their $50 product gift certificate apart of USAC East Coasts’ great contingency program!

With the World of Outlaws in North Dakota and High Limit Racing in California, we thought we would throw it back this Thursday to 2019 and 2021, when Ronald was turning wrenches on the Logan Schuchart/Shark Racing World of Outlaw team.

They picked up a win at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND in June 2019, and won the prestigious Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California in September 2021.

Today’s event at Action Track USA has been 🌧️ out. We will see everyone on Sunday, August 30th on the rain date!

All events scheduled for today’s Dick Tobias Classic at Action Track USA have been canceled due to weather. We will run the Dick Tobias classic in two weeks, Sunday, August 30. See you all then, stay dry. Thank you.

Pulled the #5 at the redraw so started the 25 lap A main there. Knew I had to get to the top asap and couldn’t for the first lap so fell back to 8th, then 9th a few laps later after getting into the cushion too hard.

Got back to 8th and finished 7th after a car in the top 3 missed going to the scales. Another solid top 10 run, our 5th in 7 races we have ran with USAC EC this season.
