Puerto Iguazu: Day 6

The rain came back and that meant mostly quick historical visits, naps and evening indoor activities.
•••
A nice visit to Guaminí Mision Hotel to see the free Guamini-Jesuit Museum and to have lunch with a view of the Parana River and Paraguay Coast. After was a well deserved long nap when the heavy rain started. Before dinner we made a pit stop to see the Hito de las Tres Fronteras Puerto Iguazu where you can see Paraguay, Brazil & Argentina in one look out spot. Dinner brought way to fresh cerviche and, of course, beef and Malbec 🥩 🍷

Finishing the night, we made our way to the casino to catch a show and play a few slots 🎰 before our last evening in Iguazu to catch a morning flight back to Buenos Aires

Parque Nacional Iguazu: Day 5

With sheer luck 🍀 we had a clear, sunny day and a rare opening of the national Park to walk the Inferior and Superior Circuits and see the powerful waterfalls. Iguazu Falls is famous for being the largest waterfall system in the world, featuring approximately 275 individual cascades spread over nearly 2.7 kilometers (1.7 miles) of the Iguazu River 💦

The parque is also a UNESCO World Heritage site protecting dense jungle flora alongside wildlife such as coatis, monkeys, toucans, and jaguars 🐆

I am so lucky to see this natural wonder of the world 🌎

Puerto Iguazu: Day 4

An early morning flight from Buenos Aires to Iguazu. Goal is to see the Parque Nacional Iguazu with its famous Waterfalls. However, Mother Nature has produced months of heavy rainfall linked to an El Niño weather pattern causing the National Park to enact safety closures due to a massive surge in water levels. It is a something that can only be assessed day by day 🤞

In the meantime, holidays also mean relaxation. A pool day La Aldea de la Selva Lodge in the tropical jungle followed by a good meal with w**e 🍷 also keeps me happy 😊

Buenos Aires: Day 3

A morning run to my favorite neighborhood San Telmo where I visited Galería Solar de French | San Telmo and Mercado_santelmo Oficial before meeting our friends who finally made it to Argentina 🇦🇷

Lunch consisted of traditional Argentinian meat and dishes at La Dorita - Parrilla Argentina 🥩 🤤 and ending our evening with some beers in the Palmero SOHO area at Buenos Aires 🍻

Buenos Aires: Day 2

Still waiting for our 3 friends to arrive but made the most of our time by continuing to explore. First up was a walk through the Recoleta Cemetery, functioning as an open air art museum with influential figures like Eva Peron being buried there.

To rest a bit, we took the hop on hop off bus around BA to see some additional sites like the Obelisk Monument, Colorful Caminito, La Boca, & Puerto Madero with the 25 year old Women’s Bridge

Additionally, we had walked through Sunday flea markets and had lunch at the cute and quaint ΛƬIƧ BΛЯ in the San Telmo neighborhood, which has become my favorite neighborhood 💕

Ending the evening, we had a drink and some selfie fun at NIVEL DIOS - SELFIE BAR🍻

Buenos Dias from Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷

A trip of a lifetime with 5 friends started out NOT according to plan. Me and another friend got here on time yesterday thanks to a great flight with Lufthansa ✈️ But the other half of the crew got delayed in Rome, missing their connection and not being put on another flight until 2 days later 😣 Not cool 👎 While they are making the most out of this sh!tshow in Rome and another day in Madrid before joining us, we are enjoying the first packed day in BA

Starting out the morning right with a coffee and pastry at KOPI • Specialty Coffee Makers we did a walking tour with a local around the Recoleta and Palermo neighborhoods making a brief stop at the incredible El Ateneo Grand Splendid Book Shop. Heading towards Avenida del Libertador and onward to the Floralis Generica, we then had lunch for delicious Empanadas at Restaurant Peña La Morena

A short rest and then a 10km run, and we were ready for the touristic Tango Show Señor Tango Oficial 💃

Now ready to see what day 2 will bring 😍

A relatively quiet weekend this Saturday and Sunday for me. Sleeping in both days felt like catch up from my Vegas trip jet lag. Rain is back in Lux and cooler temps which is normal for this time of year 🌧️

Easy run and lift session at the gym today. A short week of work this week before my next big trip: Argentina 🇦🇷 💕

Last Day in Las Vegas 😭

Earlier flight was cancelled to a later departure giving us a full day to do some last minute shenanigans. First stop the trippy Omega Mart and to finish off the time in Vegas appropriately at a gentleman’s club 👯‍♀️

The cancelled flight was a blessing as we got routed directly back to Europe via Amsterdam, avoiding an additional connection plus we missed the flooding on LV. A bonus: upgraded to Business Class. Not sure I’ll ever be able to go back from that 😅

Las Vegas: Saturday October 10, 2026

Wedding Day 💒 for my friends Susana Ritto | Executive Coach for Women & Sam Erba who got married in Vegas 10 years ago after having done a pacific coast tour from San Francisco to Los Angeles. 10 years later they invited friends and family from Portugal, France, Luxembourg & the UK to relive the magic with none other than Elvis himself 🎸 The vibes were of reminiscing memories and making new ones. An international little family and my heart couldn’t be happier to share the moments with everyone to Celebrate Susana & Sam 💕

Afternoon & Evening: Las Vegas October 9th, 2026

I got in a workout at the nicest hotel gym I’ve ever been to ARIA Resort & Casino They had all cardio, weights, and even a recovery lounge with recovery boots! Then the afternoon brought us to the 2.3 Billion Dollar Sphere to see the Wizard of Oz in enhanced and interactive 4D. The Sphere is a work of art inside and out. This was followed by a quick nap and dinner with the wedding party at Virgil’s BBQ 🍗 on The Linq Promenade. And finally I ended up at the Wynn Las Vegas to see Awakening, a choreographed performance and light show about Light and Dark narrated by Anthony Hopkins I would have loved to catch the Metallica concert at the Sphere, but I would have had to shell out $1,190 for the cheapest seat 😅😅🤑🤑
