The next few weeks will be dedicated to cycling as my 3 Day company charity ride will take place at the end of the month in the South of France 🇫🇷 300+ km and an average of 1400m elevation over the 3 days 😅

Stretching is good to target your muscle spindles while deep pressure targets your golgi tendon organs, the two receptors of your muscles that give feedback to the brain to help your muscles go back to their natural resting length. There is science to recovery ❤️‍🩹

Spanish weddings are a lot of fun. Music, food, shared moments, and lots of dancing into the early hours in the morning 😅 For someone who is usually in bed by 10:30pm, I will need lots of rest and downtime after this weekend 😅

The first few km of the were absolutely drenched & cold, loud, chaotic. By the halfway point the clouds had pulled back and it was just repeating hitting the pavement until the finish line. I’ll take that ending every time ✨

Yesterday, I joined the road bike ride for 65km packed with relentless rolling hills. They test your legs, your lungs, and your mental grit in equal measure - repeat after repeat, grinding it out and pushing through.

But that’s the point. Every climb, every burning quad, every moment you want to ease up but don’t, it’s all building something bigger. The next couple of months have some serious events on the calendar, and days like yesterday are exactly how you show up ready 💪
