The Boston Triathlon Team has a rich history of racing, training, volunteering, and fellowship around the sport of triathlon. The team has been together since 1987, and the essence of the team has stayed the same: to enjoy each other's company while fostering healthy competition and a healthy lifestyle. While the team is primarily focused on the swim, bike, and run aspects of the sport, we also maintain a healthy balance of social events and exploring life outside of triathlon. Membership includes triathletes of all abilities who race all distances of triathlons. Our team includes competitive age groupers, a few elites, and athletes who simply enjoy participating, being active, and racing against their personal goals. The Boston Triathlon Team is a small team, and we do this so that all members know each other. The team currently has 140 members and we accept new members every year in the fall.
