Syracuse Elite

Syracuse Elite An Elite Group of Professional Track and Field Athletes who train in Syracuse, New York. We extend our deepest gratitude to any help in achieving this dream.

We are a group of post collegiate athletes pursuing international success in Track and Field. As recent graduates of Syracuse University, we have committed the next several years to train full time with our dedicated coach, David Hegland. Our goals are to compete and medal at the International and Olympic level. Training at this level requires intensive practice sessions, spanning several hours a

day, 6 days a week. In addition, traveling and competitions only allows us to work part time jobs,
requiring us to operate on strict budgets. It is difficult to negotiate the cost of travel and other expenses for competitions. The competitions give us the best opportunity to transcend to the next level of running professionally. It is a lifestyle completely devoted to honing our skills, fitness and nutrition to the highest degree. We have joined the “Syracuse Elite” because we all share the same passion for achieving our goals. Maneuvering as a group offers financial advantages such as lower costs of travel and lodging. In our quest for the olympic dream we will strive for greatness in every aspect of our lives.
