This year we were very very grateful to be in partnership with Red Bull. They brought in infrastructure and great vibes. Live DJ, tents, free drinks, a whole crew, and more. After much groundwork, networking, and meetings we or put in touch with them, and got their attention. They listened and jumped on board. Their team all say how much they adored the event and the absolutely world-class athletics in the 4 different championships we had on the field. In being their introduction to Celtic Festivals, Highland Games, and Celtic sporting traditions, they said they now see what we are about. And they are hooked.

Sometimes that’s all it takes. They have to see it to believe it. Together we showed them how incredible and relevant Celtic strength heritage and sports are. Reminding them how important community is.

All the gratitude to all the people, staff, volunteers, federations, organizations, and sponsors who showed up and unified under the banner! 💪

Photo Dump 1. came out to play and capture some magic. 🪄

There is so much to say about the Celtic Strength World Championships. The athletes showed up, they battled, the people came to party. We unified as a community, bridging worlds old and new. World records were broken. Kings and Queens were crowned. Great food was had. Best drink was drunk.

Hard to describe in words all the power that was on the field. You had to be there, in the arena, to feel it. We all came together and did something gargantuan. Because we came together. This is all our our successes, not just that of the few. From the year round efforts, meetings, visions, and drive of the team to the federations, organizations, athletes, vendors, and volunteers. We made it happen together.

Celtic Strength is alive. And it is here to stay.

We were put in touch with Tina who makes custom hand-stitched balaclavas. She is renowned for making ‘s of . What many people don’t know is she has done incredible nonprofit work fighting for the education and preservation of the Irish language in Northern Ireland. Under the occupation and oppression of the British government.

Now, the Balaclava has many uses, often with varying connotation. What people need to know is that it is a symbol of a different kind of strength: standing up against oppressive and tyrannical power. Of standing up for yourself and who you are. Especially for your culture and heritage.

Tina heard our story and she - on her own - set out on a mission to make our crew a custom balaclava. Because she believes in what we are doing; what this branch of the Celtic Tree of Life stands for, and represents. Pro-bono.

Because it’s not what one person looks like, it’s what we as a group stand for. All of our crew put on the balaclava for this, we all fight for it. Sacrifice for it. Behind closed doers and in the open. Together, as one, with the balaclava of Celtic identity and true purpose changing heads as it is needed for the larger picture and purpose.

The second slide has Celtic Strength balaclava’s that are for sale. We do not receive any money from these. Tina gets it all so by supporting here, you are supporting a living legend in Northern Irish culture and resilience.

Each part of these designs have great meaning. And if you wanted something specific, she can do that too for you.

The Party:
4 Athletic Championships: 2 wrestling styles including a North American Championships with pro fighters coming in to try it out. Highland Games Pro League, world records set to be broken. Team Highlander Competition with barbell clubs forming teams to battle each other: Wagon Wheel Deadlift. Truck Pull. Caber Toss for Distance.

Crowd Participation Stations: Stonelifting, Fitness Challenge, Zercher Squat station to learn and have fun. Some people going for 700 lbs single rep, and the Stones of Strength Challenge. Irish Stickfighting. Catch Wrestling. Bareknuckle boxing.

Beer Garden 12noon to 4pm sponsored by Guinness, with The Black Harp Traveling Irish pub.

Live DJ with music and tents in partnership with Red Bull

💪 We are about a week out from The world Celtic Strength championship☘️ at Fino Field in Milford MA on Saturday, June 13. As most of you know and for those of you who don’t, this will be the first year that a beverage service is being allowed. That being said in order to make this both Fun & Safe and to ensure that we are allowed back next year we ask that you please adhere to the following. In addition to that, if you have not yet gotten your tickets, we are asking that you get them ahead of time through either the link in my bio or through at this will allow us to get a better idea for quantities and it will also help to cut down on wait times at the event entrance. Please spread the word and thank you all! We will see you on June 13!
