This month, we want to recognize a longtime member who is fighting every single day to get back home to her family, friends, and the gym she loves.
Life can change in an instant, and no one knows that better than Jane Madden.
At the end of May, Jane was involved in an accident that resulted in a spinal cord injury and left her paralyzed. Since then, she has undergone two surgeries and countless hours of rehabilitation at two different facilities.
Through it all, the Jane we have always known has continued to show up with an incredible attitude. She has remained positive, fought like hell, and worked tirelessly to heal, get stronger, and overcome the challenges she now faces.
We want to recognize Jane for the inspiration she has given us, the strength she has shown, and the courage she continues to demonstrate every day.
Jane's journey is a reminder to all of us that life can change in an instant. Don't take a single day, a single workout, or the people you love for granted.
Jane has a few more weeks of rehabilitation ahead of her, and right now she needs our thoughts, prayers, encouragement, and support more than ever. Her goal is to get home to her family, and eventually, she hopes to make her way back to the gym to continue her training and rehabilitation.
If you would like to leave a card, a note, words of encouragement, or anything else for Jane, please drop it off at the front desk. We will make sure it gets to her on August 19th.
Jane, we are incredibly proud of you. Keep fighting. Keep pushing. Keep believing.❤️💪
