HYROX Beijing 2026 -Top two Women Pro finishers!
Let's give these athletes' performances a closer look. 👊

Joanna Wietrzyk and Alyssa McElheny finished just 45 seconds apart in Beijing Women's Pro: 1:01:23 and 1:02:08.

Joanna recorded the faster displayed time at all eight stations. Alyssa's results page shows the first-ranked running total, second-ranked sled pull and third-ranked SkiErg and wall balls.

One of the most interesting parts of the race happened late: the gap was 1:41 after the farmers carry, then only 12 seconds at lunge entry. Joanna extended it again through the closing section to finish 45 seconds ahead.

As a coach, I want to know what happened inside those numbers. BOXROX reports two extra laps for Joanna and one for Alyssa, so we cannot treat their run totals as a straight speed comparison.

That gives every athlete a useful reminder: know your lap count, rehearse your route and review each station with the run that follows. A long split starts a question; it does not automatically identify your training limiter.

Save it for your next race review.

HYROX Beijing Results 🔥 Your finish time tells you the result. The breakdown helps you ask better coaching questions. 👊

HECK VS GREER
HYROX Beijing gave us a useful example:
Heck: 55:56
Greer: 56:51

85 seconds faster on the runs. 55 seconds behind at the finish. 👀

At HYROX Beijing, Luke Greer completed the running segments in 25:34. Gabriel Heck took 26:59.
But Heck finished first: 55:56 versus 56:51.

The difference? Heck spent 2:30 less time at the stations. That outweighed Greer's 1:25 running advantage and 10-second Roxzone advantage.

This is why I want athletes to look at the whole race before deciding what to train next.
Running matters. So do station ex*****on, transitions and how you hold your performance together under fatigue.
These numbers tell us where time differed. They cannot tell us whether Greer overpaced, or which training change either athlete needs.

For YOUR next race review, start here:
• Running: Where did your pace change after stations?
• Stations: Where did breaks or ex*****on cost time?
• Roxzone: Where did hesitation or navigation add time?

Then combine the splits with your effort, video and training history.

Save this carousel for your next race review. Where is your biggest opportunity: running, stations or transitions? 👊

HYROX’S NEXT CHAPTER 👊

The founders are taking back majority control.

Christian Toetzke and Moritz Fürste have reinvested in HYROX as Infront sells its majority stake. L Catterton and WndrCo are joining as investment partners, with the founders continuing to shape the sport’s direction. Confirmed in the September 8 announcements from (https://www.infront.sport/news/participations-sports/consortium-led-by-l-catterton-in-partnership-with-hyrox-founders-acquires-infronts-majority-stake-in-hyrox-clone) and (Kirkland & Ellis)(https://www.kirkland.com/news/press-release/2026/09/kirkland-advises-hyrox-founders-on-partnership-with-l-catterton-led-consortium).

As a coach and athlete, I’m excited about what this could make possible.

More opportunities to race. Stronger support for athletes. A sport that keeps welcoming people to their first starting line while giving experienced competitors room to progress.

Those are the things I want to see as HYROX grows.

And the preparation matters at every level.

Understanding your running pace.
Building strength you can use at the stations.
Practising transitions and movement skills.
Fuelling your training and recovery.
Learning from your results and adjusting your plan.

At Warrior Performance Lab, that is where my focus stays: connecting testing, training, nutrition and feedback so you understand what you’re working on and why.

Whether your goal is finishing your first race or improving your Pro performance, you deserve preparation that fits you.

New Partnership Announcement - AMAZON × HYROX is Official!!! And this is much bigger than another logo appearing on race day.
The global partnership brings dedicated HYROX storefronts, training and race-day equipment, sports nutrition, wearables, recovery tools, Amazon Music playlists and on-site athlete experiences into one growing ecosystem.
Why does this matter?
Because it is another clear signal that HYROX is no longer a niche fitness event. It is becoming a global sport and an enormous year-round training, performance and lifestyle market.

But here is the Warrior Performance Lab perspective:
Having easier access to equipment is useful. Knowing what your body actually needs is more valuable.

The right shoes cannot correct the wrong pacing strategy.
A supplement cannot replace inadequate fueling.
A wearable cannot identify your limiter unless you understand the data.
And more equipment cannot replace individualized training.
Gear supports performance. Strategy creates it.

What would you want from an official HYROX storefront; fueling, race kit, wearables, recovery tools or coach-approved essentials?

The Half Marathon World Record 🔥 56:5. For 21.1 kilometres.

Yomif Kejelcha averaged:
⚡ 2:41.7/km
⚡ 4:20.2/mile
⚡ 22.27 km/h
⚡ 64.7 seconds per 400m

But the average pace may not be the most remarkable part of this performance.
His 5K segments:
0–5K: 13:45
5–10K: 13:34
10–15K: 13:22
15–20K: 13:23
Final kilometre: 2:32

At 10K, Kejelcha was still 19 seconds behind Jacob Kiplimo’s Lisbon world-record split.

Only five kilometers later, he was 11 seconds ahead
That is a 30-second reversal between 10K and 15K—followed by a 26:45 split from 10K to 20K.
This was not simply an athlete holding on at an extraordinary speed. It was an athlete gaining access to more speed as fatigue accumulated.
That requires an exceptional combination of running economy, aerobic power, threshold durability and neuromuscular control.
And Kejelcha’s performance range is equally astonishing:

3:47.01 mile — former indoor world record
12:38.95 for 5000m
26:31 road 10K world record
56:51 half-marathon world record
1:59:41 — fastest marathon debut ever

What shocks you more—the 2:41.7/km average or the 2:32 final kilometer?

Want to know whether your own limiter is aerobic ceiling, threshold, running economy or late-race durability?
Comment LIMITER and I’ll send you the 60-second Performance Limiter Check.

HYROX Coaches Hub Is Here!!!!

The Coaches Hub was built for coaches who want more than random workouts and scattered notes.

The coaching angle: Coaches Hub launch. When athletes understand the system behind the rep, they stop guessing and start executing with more control.

Key cues:
• This does not replace the coach.
• It supports your sessions, conversations, and race plans.
• Make complex topics easier to teach.

Explore the resources, grab the frameworks, and build a stronger HYROX coaching system.

Need Resources?

Coaching notes, rule reminders, cue sheets, and programming ideas can end up everywhere. Good resources bring clarity back.

The coaching angle: Resource offer. When athletes understand the system behind the rep, they stop guessing and start executing with more control.

Key cues:
• Station breakdowns should be easy to apply.
• Checklists should reduce uncertainty.
• Cues should be simple enough to remember when tired.

Start with the Coaches Hub and build from pacing, stations, transitions, and standards.

Could you complete a full HYROX Pro-format race every day for 100 days?
Simon Gronau did—and the Rekord-Institut für Deutschland certified it. From March 28 to July 5, 2026, he completed 100 consecutive full Pro efforts, each inside a two-hour limit. The cumulative workload included 800 km of running, 100 km each on the SkiErg and rower, 5 km each of sled pushing and pulling, 8 km of burpee broad jumps, 20 km of farmer’s carries, 10 km of sandbag lunges and 10,000 wall balls. What makes the story valuable is not just the number. Gronau built specifically for the project, controlled his pace and made recovery part of the daily job. He also sustained a midfoot stress injury—an important reminder that cardiovascular fitness and muscular tolerance do not guarantee that bone and connective tissue are keeping pace. Takeaway: copy the preparation, consistency and respect for recovery.

Get the Framework Before Race Day!

If an athlete arrives without a plan, every decision becomes emotional. The framework gives answers before pressure arrives.

The coaching angle: Pre-race planning framework. When athletes understand the system behind the rep, they stop guessing and start executing with more control.

Key cues:
• The athlete should not improvise on race day.
• The coach can individualize without reinventing everything.
• A good framework makes ex*****on more predictable.

Get the framework before race day and use it to make training clearer and race ex*****on sharper.
