Nine members of the Hampton Hall rolled up their sleeves on June 6, 2026 to support The Blessing Box Canapalooza at the Heyward House. This free family event brought the community together all in support of an important mission: ensuring no one goes to bed hungry.

The Hampton Hall Volunteer Brigade was honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation for our continued support of this wonderful organization. Want to learn more about The Blessing Box? After a long week of aerification, most of the maintenance crew had headed home for the weekend. Not Matt.

Late Saturday afternoon, our Director of Golf Maintenance & Agronomy, was still out on the course, personally blowing the greens to ensure they are in great condition for our members.

His dedication is unmatched, and we are grateful for all he does to make Hampton Hall one of the finest golf experiences in the Lowcountry.

Ryan recently told us that beyond all the wonderful things Hampton Hall offers, the amazing work Brent and Blake do with our young golfers is right at the top of the list. The children LOVE PGA Jr. League, and we could not ask for a better compliment.

Member Monday | Frank & Jane Zagar

For Frank and Jane Zagar, Hampton Hall has become much more than a place to live—it is a community filled with friendship, involvement, and an active lifestyle they truly enjoy.

After 35-year careers with the Kroger Company, the Zagars made Hampton Hall their permanent home following years of visiting Hilton Head Island and discovering the community through a round on the Pete Dye golf course in 2011.

Frank has generously served on the Hampton Hall Board of Directors, Golf Board of Directors, and Men’s Golf Society, while both Frank and Jane remain active with The Church of the Cross, volunteer work, Bible studies, travel, and time with their children and grandchildren.

The relationships they have built and the welcoming spirit of Hampton Hall have made retirement both active and deeply rewarding.
