HOW MANY MILES CAN WE LOG TOGETHER? šŸ‘Ÿ
This isn’t about who can go the fastest or the farthest.

It’s about showing up.

One walk.
One run.
One bike ride.
One mile at a time.

We’re challenging our Priority Preventative Medicine community to get moving this September and help us make an impact for children battling cancer.
Tag someone who should join you!

Let’s see how far our community can move for a cure. šŸ’›

Nerve symptoms in one leg? It may be more than ā€œjust tight muscles squeezing a nerve.ā€ 🧠🦵

When a nerve root along your spine is irritated or compressed, you may experience numbness, tingling, weakness, or changes in sensation down one side of the leg.

A gentle side-lying side-bending position can sometimes help reduce pressure around the nerve root, potentially improving the nerve’s environment and allowing better circulation and communication between the nerve, muscles, and sensory system.

But here’s the important part: not every nerve symptom should be treated with an exercise.

🚩 If symptoms are affecting both legs, involve the groin/saddle region, are accompanied by significant or progressive weakness, or continue to persist or worsen, you should be evaluated by your healthcare provider.

Your symptoms are information. Don’t just stretch through them—understand where they’re coming from.

At our clinic, we look beyond the painful area to determine why your symptoms are happening and create a plan to help you move and perform better for the long term.

Things to note šŸ“
1. Perform this stretch for 5-10 minutes (if you feel more discomfort or sensation- that can be normal for increased blood flow to the nerve but you should stop the stretch at that point)

2. You need adequate side bending to decompress the nerve- Our MECHANICAL TRACTION MACHINE is extremely effective at isolating the nerve root as we are able to distract, side bend, and rotate the specific segment for the best decompression

3. COME SEE US IF YOU WANT SPECIFIC ANSWERS AND A QUICKER AND MORE EFFECTIVE TREATMENT!

Assess. Rebuild. Perform.

Shoulder pain keeping you up at night? šŸ‘‡

Sometimes the problem isn’t just a ā€œtight shoulder.ā€

Capsule tightness + poor joint mobility + a painful, weak rotator cuff can limit your range of motion and make lying on that shoulder uncomfortable.

Dry needling can be one tool we use to help improve shoulder mobility, decrease muscle and joint stiffness, reduce pain, and restore better movement.

But we don’t just treat the painful spot—we evaluate why the shoulder isn’t moving well in the first place.

šŸŽÆ Improve mobility
šŸ’Ŗ Build rotator cuff strength
🧠 Restore movement
😓 Get back to sleeping comfortably

Better movement. Less pain. More life.

Shoulder pain doesn’t always start in the shoulder. šŸ‘€

Sometimes the missing piece is the way your thoracic spine is moving.

Limited upper-back mobility can change how the shoulder blade moves, alter overhead mechanics, and place extra stress on the shoulder joint.

That’s why we don’t just treat the spot that hurts—we evaluate the entire movement system to find the why behind your pain.

Because better movement starts with finding the root cause.
Assess. Rebuild. Perform.
