The fall LEOSA HR 218 qualification will be held on 21 September , 0900-1100 classroom portion and then we will move to the range for fi****ms qualification.

Once again I was honored to have the privilege to assist the Blairsville Police Dept and Union County Sheriff Shawn Dyer with the 8th Annual Duck Derby . As I understood it 3268 tickets were sold and all proceeds go to the Shop with a Cop event . I spent well over 25 years in law enforcement and am so honored to be a Lt to assist these fine folks with this endeavor.

We will be hosting this class on Sept 15th starting at 0830 . You can sign up on the NRA Website under training classes offered, at the range office , or at the following link . Class size is limited to 6 people . Must be 21 to complete this course.

I got a chance to meet this young lady today when she and her Grandparents came up to see us from Cartersville. She is visiting from Texas and got a chance to shoot her first Handgun today , after only minuscule instructions and a little tweaking of her grip , she did absolutely phenomenal for a first time shooter . She is headed back home shortly to continue her education with the goal of becoming a Veterinarian . I hope you enjoyed the time spent with us as much as we did!

As many of you know our r***e range was dedicated to MSGT Eric England USMC . Eric was a powerful force in the effort to find and establish a shooting range in Union County as well as a many time distinguished marksman , champion shooter and record holder as well as a deadly Marine Corps Sniper . This week has been a week for USMC Gifts . Today Eric’s niece and her husband whom I have known both since High School gifted me with a coffee cup from Eric’s collection.
It is a memento from the 9th Annual Interservice R***e Championship Match
Held at Quantico Virginia in 1970. I am honored to receive this gift and will proudly display it in the office here at the range .
