I sit here, alone, in this place that, for awhile, became a living thing. I've realized dreams here. I've poured myself into something that was bigger than me. I've made many friends... and, no doubt some enemies too.
I must now prepare to leave this place. This place that I have given so much. This place that has taken so much. This place that has given me so much. I have to walk away now. From here to there. All I will have are some possessions, some memories and the hope that whatever is waiting for me is just a bit better for me than what I leave behind.

After many hours of thought and discussuons with those close to me, I regretfully have to announce that ADHD Motorsports will be closing it's doors. It is not the choice I wanted to make but with recent happenings in my personal life, I find myself facing some unpleasant decisions.
Over the next month or so I will be having a liquidation sale of cars, parts, tools and equipment. And finally, I would like to thank our customers for supporting us over the last four years. -Michael

They are located across the street from our shop, they have pontoon boat and jet ski rentals. They are new to our community and need our support! Our thoughts and prayers go out to those families that were affected by the tragic shooting today. Hug your children a little tighter tonight. We have been worried all week with the hospital visits for Wyatt this week, but at least we get to hold him and Noah. Tonight there are parents who will never be able to see their smile, hear their laugh, or hold them in their arms again. Please pray for these people!

The '66 Vette is nearing completion. When this car first got here it ran terrible. And smoked badly. We ran a compression test and realized one bank's numbers were 30-50 lbs. lower than the opposite bank. Adjusted the valves and it was better but still not up to s***f. I ran a leakdown test and determined a couple of burnt valves... from the shop that rebuilt the engine not setting the valves properly. Crystal pulled the intake and both heads. What I found inside was good and bad. Good: I found a .060 over 327 with 11.25:1 pop up pistons and a well built short block. Bad: I found out that although the heads had been machined in the past to have hardened valve seats, whoever did the work just knurled the stock valve guides, which explained the oily smoke. Now all the bad stuff is fixed and all the missing ignition shielding that somebody threw away is back in place. I can't wait to hear this run again, probably tomorrow. Also I would like to express my thanks to Performance Coatings, Inc. of Jonesboro, GA for doing such a nice job on the ceramic coated exhaust manifolds. They look like fresh, raw cast iron and they should stay looking like that. Nice job.

Just a note to all our customers and friends on fb. Last night at a little after 11 pm, we got the call that Crystals Daddy, Frank Childers had passed away. All I can say at the moment is my schedule just went out the window for at least a few days. I apologize in advance for anything that may get overlooked or postponed. Thank you, Michael

COPIED FROM MY WIFE Crystal Dunkle. PLEASE HELP US HELP THEM!

Ok FB friends, I have a favor to ask. One of my customers who is also a neighbor and close friend is having a rough time right now! My friend has been married to his best friend for many years, and right now she is not doing well at all. Right after I had Wyatt I went to visit them and show off my new baby and she was well. Within a few days, we had heard that she was in the hospital with a severe infection in her chest and was in a medically induced coma. Now over the last few weeks she has made steps forward and steps back, she had MRSA and now they have found other infections. This will be a long road for recovery. In the mean time, her husband who is retired is faithfully driving over that mountain everyday to be by his bride. Even though they have had a full life together, this man loves his wife so much that I am not sure how he would handle it if something did happen to her. Wi...th all of this going on, he also had a mishap with a deer the o...ther night coming home from visiting his bride, his car is now totaled. (Like he didn't already have enough to deal with!)
So my favor I am asking for is for help. I know these are hard times for everyone but I would love to be able to help him out to make this experience a little easier for him and his son. They need to be able to get gas, meals, etc... Prayers are always welcomed for them, but if you could spare even a couple of dollars, bake some goodies, get a gift card for food or gas, anything to help them out. If you are willing to help out private message me or stop by the shop. Thanks in advance. Let's help this couple have a little bit easier holiday season b/c they have a long road to go!

P.S. If you know this couple please do not tell him about this post. I have blocked it from him b/c I would like to surprise him.

Haven't had a chance to post lately, we've been very busy. Just to update everyone, the Dart has paint on it now, along with six coats of clear. Now we are spending the time it takes to wetsand the car before I buff it to a high shine.
