We may have discovered another advantage of the ePropulsion Elite/solar dodger combination:
The Portland Pudgy is a terrible getaway vehicle.

The solar dodger works so well because we only motor short distances, then the Pudgy spends hours sitting around putting the energy back into the battery.

Steal the whole thing and try to make a run for it? You’re going to have a relatively short ride under power at 3 knots.

Then you’re rowing.

Not exactly a security system. But possibly a feature we hadn’t considered. 😂
