Racers. Please read :
There has been questions by some in the last couple days regarding summer start times. Last year we moved the start times back in an effort to race more in the evening and not so much in the heat. Although some liked racing later. We got hammered by a lot of racers when we were still racing at midnight, 1 and even later.
We also had racers complain the times were moved and they didn’t know from week to week when we were starting. Sooo..
To fix this I put in a 12 noon start time and was gonna just leave it the same all this year. (Most of our races take approx 8 hours with 2 time runs) Now. Were getting questioned as to why were not starting later in the summer ????
So, let’s hear it on this post. Here’s some options. And we can discuss it. Post away.
Option 1 : Leave it the same as now, Same start time throughout year. Done racing by 8pm or so. 2 time runs.
Option 2 : Move start time back 2 hours. Same 2 time runs and race from 2pm to 10 ish.
Option 3 : move start time to 4 in the summer. Go to 1 time run to save an hour plus on time. ( which by summer you should know your car and what it will run. We do have test on Friday’s ). And race till 11-midnight.
