Congrats to Wayne senior Mackenzie Nissen on signing her letter of intent to continue her softball career at Northeast Community College! 🥎

Mackenzie plans to pursue a degree in Radiology while competing at the next level. She shared that she’s most excited to play alongside athletes from all across the state.

👑 🥎 These ladies came to play yesterday!! Finishing 2-1 on the day and head into the HS Open gold bracket today to compete for the title. I challenged them to come out strong 💪 and have great energy from the first game and they rose to the occasion. We showed incredible fight and fortitude with two late game come back wins to start the day. Keep fighting, keep growing, and bring home some hardware! Let’s Go Reign!! 🩵 💛 🖤

The bats stayed hot yesterday, and the blasts 💥 by these two led the way! Rachel with two massive bombs 💣 for home runs #4 & 5 and on the season!! Courtney with the laser shot to left center for her 1st on the year!! The team hit for a .382 average on the day with Rachel, Mackenzie, Kenzie, Marah, and Courtney all hitting .500 or better.
