A friendly reminder to all our members and guests:

Despite hosting the famous Horse Race tournament twice each year, there are actually no horses on the golf course during the event. In fact, there are no horses, cows, goats, sheep, alpacas, llamas, donkeys, chickens, or any other livestock on the course at any time.

The “Horse Race” is a golf tournament, not a rodeo.

While we appreciate the enthusiasm and understand the name can be a little misleading, the only things galloping across the fairways should be golf carts running late to their tee times. 🏌️‍♂️

Thank you for helping us keep the course safe, enjoyable, and free of hoof prints. We look forward to seeing you at the next Horse Race—where the only thoroughbreds you’ll encounter are the golfers who think they can still shoot their age.

🏌️‍♀️🔥 LADIES LEAGUE HOLE OF THE NIGHT 🔥🏌️‍♀️

Huge congratulations to Kendsey Trost for making the rest of us question our life choices on Hole #6 tonight at Belleville Country Club! 😆

Kendsey absolutely crushed a 225-yard drive, followed it up with a 186-yard second shot that settled just 9 feet from the pin, and then calmly drained the eagle putt like she does this every day. 🦅💥

For those keeping score at home, that’s:
✅ 225-yard bomb
✅ 186-yard laser
✅ 9-foot eagle putt
✅ One very jealous Ladies League field

The only thing more impressive than the eagle was making it look easy!

🏇⛳ Memorial Day Horse Race Recap – Ladies Division ⛳🏇

The Belleville Country Club ladies put on quite a show this Memorial Day, and the finish was tighter than a golf glove after Thanksgiving dinner!

After a thrilling race around the course, Kendsey Trost galloped across the finish line as the 2026 Horse Race Champion, edging out Katelyn Crim on the FINAL hole. Talk about a photo finish! 🏆

Not far behind was Mary Ann Kasl, who came up just one hole short of making the championship showdown and secured a strong third-place finish. 🥉

Rumor has it the pressure was so intense on the final hole that even the golf carts were nervous.

Congratulations to Kendsey, Katelyn, and Mary Ann on a fantastic competition, and thanks to all the ladies who made this year’s Memorial Day Horse Race one to remember!

Congratulations to Tim Talkington for an unbelievable eagle on Hole #9 during Men’s League at the Belleville Country Club tonight!

From 130 yards away, Tim hit a 9-iron that found the flagstick and dropped straight to the bottom of the hole for eagle. An incredible shot and one he will be talking about for a long time!

What a finish at the Memorial Day Horse Race Tournament at Belleville Country Club! 🏌️‍♂️⛳

After a day of great golf and fierce competition, the championship came down to a playoff hole between Randy Bauer and Paul Rundus. When neither player could gain the advantage, the title was decided by a dramatic chip-off.

With the pressure on, Randy Bauer came up clutch, sticking his chip a few feet closer than Paul to claim the victory and take home the championship! 🏆

Not to be overlooked, Barry Porter put together an outstanding round and finished in 3rd place, narrowly missing a spot in the finals by just one hole.

Congratulations to all the competitors for making this year’s Memorial Day Horse Race one to remember. Thanks to everyone who participated and helped make it another great event at Belleville Country Club.

For a few years, the Belleville Country Club website was kind of like that golf ball you swore landed right in the middle of the fairway… and then mysteriously disappeared. 🏌️‍♂️🔍

Well, after spending some time lost in the rough, we’re excited to announce that Belleville Country Club has a brand-new website and a fresh new look thanks to Troy Johnson and TJ Sites! 🎉

This is just the initial launch, so consider it our opening tee shot. In the coming months, we’ll be adding more information, features, updates, and everything anyone could ever want to know about the club, the course, events, memberships, and more.

So take a look around, enjoy the new design, and stay tuned as we continue building what we hope will become the ultimate source for all things Belleville Country Club.
