If you use your boat during the colder seasons make sure you check your steering gland seals. Ice will build up on your steering rod and can cut your seals. This will cause air in your hydraulic steering lines which will turn your steering sloppy and dangerous. This customer found out he had an issue this past week at Redwing, running down the river at 30mph and his boat would not turn.

The game has for sure changed in the last 15 years, from one 7” color Sonar/Gps on a couple of spade connectors ran to a manufactured supplied power. Now we have compartments dedicated to multiple forward facing sonar units. Stand alone lithium batteries and 12” graphs to 22” monitors. I would say the last 4 years majority of my business is made up of FFS installs.

I believe this is my last winterize for the season. This summer was my busiest season so far. Thank you to all my customers.

I will be at the Ice Show all weekend at the Band of Brothers Outdoors booth, then spending next week prepping my fish house. If anyone has any Fishhouse issues or you need some electrical work done give me a call.

Had a great day in the boat on Saturday with one of our country’s hero’s. This was my 7th year attending this trip and I look forward to it every year.
