The Gapen Company has been a family-owned business since 1936 when the Original Muddler Fly was created by Don Gapen. Since then, we have been producing quality tackle and pioneering innovation in the fishing tackle industry. These are just a few of the quality tackle products we still produce today. We also have many great fishing books, videos, rods, and hand-crafted wood lures.
