Final scores have been posted and the standings are officially updated through Week 3.

🔥 Playoff Picture
• Premiere Division: Top 4 teams qualify for the playoffs.
• Open Division: Top 8 teams qualify for the playoffs.

But don’t panic if you’re not where you want to be yet…

⏳ This is a 15-week season. We still have a long road ahead, and plenty of basketball left to be played. Every team will have opportunities to climb the standings, build chemistry, and make a run when it matters most.

We’ve seen teams start slow and finish strong. We’ve seen teams start hot and cool off. The teams that stay committed, keep showing up, and continue improving are the ones that will be playing meaningful games in August.

Today we celebrate one of the true founders of The Round League, Karel Calcote.

Many people may not know this, but Karel was the person who came up with the name “The Round League” — a name that has become synonymous with Portland basketball and has helped build a community that has impacted thousands of players over the years.

Since his playing days in Portland, Karel has taken his talents across the country and now works at NBA Headquarters in New York, continuing to make an impact on the game he loves at the highest level.

While his career has taken him far from home, Karel still talks about one day making his return to Portland and getting another shot at something that has eluded him so far — his first Round League championship.

From helping create the league’s identity to representing basketball on the national stage, Karel’s journey has been incredible to watch.
