NEPA 9 11U gets its first taste of tournament play at In The Net in Palmyra, PA and holds their own over a competitive two days of action.
Excited to see what the future holds for this talented squad!

Scott Henkel puts NEPA 9 17U into the championship with a walk off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh at ECTB in Allentown this afternoon.
Down 3-1 in the 6th, The 9 came back to tie it up on a Cade Pittenger triple, and RBI by Kayden Watch and an RBI single by JJ Blaum.
Mason Miller and Brayden Slawinski combined on a five-hitter.
Go 9!

NEPA 9 12U Diaz advances to the championship with a 14-5 win over the Palmyra Cubs this morning at In The Net in Hershey.
Winning pitcher Kayden Winslow struck out 5 and went 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and an RBI. Jeffrey Wendell singled, doubled and drove in two and Johnny Labelle and Aiden Contreras each had two hits and 2 RBI.
Keep it going, 9!

NEPA 9 12U Diaz earns the #2 seed and a spot in the semifinals tomorrow with a 7-3 win this afternoon at In The Net in Palmyra.
Jeffrey Wentzell led the offense with two hits and 2 RBI. Winning pitcher Patrick Tigue added an RBI single and struck out 5 in 4 2/3 innings.
Rudy Ubel chipped in with an RBI single and Kayden Winslow and Aiden Contreras each drove in a run.

NEPA 9 17U enters bracket play as the #1 seed tomorrow after posting two wins today at ECTB in Allentown.
The 9 opened with a 9-3 victory over Rotten Boys 19U.
JJ Blaum (triple, 2 RBI), Mason Miller (2-run single), Cade Pittenger (2 hits, 2 runs scored) and Londyn Hernandez (double, 2 runs scored) led the offense. Winning pitcher Evan Zgrodek scattered 6 hits over 4 innings.
In game two, Anthony Thaxton tossed a 3-hitter, striking out 5 and issuing no walks in a 3-2 win over Allentown RBI 19U.
