A big thank you to Coach Tony Annese and the staff at Ferris State University for running today’s camp. With four national championships in the last five seasons, they have established themselves as one of the premier programs in college football, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have such a tremendous resource right here in our state. Their willingness to invest in high school football and share their knowledge is greatly appreciated.

We’d also like to thank Clare High School for hosting today’s event and providing a great environment for teams to compete and improve.

Our program made tremendous growth throughout the day. The improvement from the first session to the last was significant, and it was encouraging to watch our guys become more confident over the course of the day!

It’s also exciting to see five months of hard work in the weight room beginning to translate onto the football field. The strength, speed, and confidence our players have developed didn’t happen overnight, and today’s camp provided another reminder that the work is paying off.

If we continue to improve at the same rate we did today, we’ll put ourselves in a great position heading into the regular season.

Day 3 ☑️

What an awesome way to wrap up our first annual Bay City Central FUNdamentals Youth Camp!

Today was packed with fun and competition. Campers battled it out in tug-of-war at the offensive line station, tested their accuracy at the quarterback station by trying to dunk our players in the dunk tank, and enjoyed a variety of other games and activities throughout the evening.

Every camper received a camp t-shirt, and we handed out plenty of awards and prizes to recognize great effort, attitude, and sportsmanship. We even capped off the night with a visit from the ice cream truck as a special treat for all of our campers.

Most importantly, these last three days have been an incredible experience. We welcomed nearly 140 unique campers over the course of the camp and had the opportunity to teach football, build relationships, and create memories that will last far beyond these three evenings.

It has been amazing to watch our players invest their time and energy into the next generation of Wolves while seeing firsthand just how bright the future of Bay City Central Football can be.

A special thank you to all of our camp sponsors who helped make this experience possible for the youth in our community. Their generosity and support allowed us to provide an unforgettable experience for nearly 140 young athletes. As you’re deciding where to spend your money, we encourage you to support the local businesses and organizations that continue to invest in our kids and give back to our community.

Today wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows… although we did end up with a pretty awesome rainbow near Engel Stadium.

More importantly, another 100+ campers had a blast learning the game of football. Today, every camper got the opportunity to learn and play each defensive position, and they also got a chance to check out our brand-new weight room.

It was great to see some new faces join us tonight, and the energy and enthusiasm from these kids continues to be outstanding. We wrapped up the evening with awards, popsicles, and plenty of smiles.

One more day to go!

Day 1 ☑️

The first day of our FUNdamentals Youth Camp was a huge success!

We welcomed more than 120 campers in grades 1-6 to historic Engel Stadium for an evening filled with football, learning, and fun. Every camper had the opportunity to learn about each offensive position while working alongside our players and coaches.

The sprinklers at Engel Stadium even made a surprise appearance to everyone’s delight! By the end of the evening, campers had gone through 20 gallons of Gatorade, 15 gallons of ice water, earned some awards, enjoyed popsicles, and most importantly…

Had FUN.

A great start to the week this morning in the weight room!

Today was the first day with our incoming freshmen, and they helped create a full house and an awesome environment.

Ended the week strong!

On Day 2 of our summer program, the guys got after it with speed and agility work to start the morning, transitioned into the weight room, and finished things off with a yoga session.

Every day is another opportunity to improve, and our guys are taking advantage of it.

Today marked the start of our summer strength and conditioning program!

The guys brought the juice right from the start this morning. We kicked things off with our first speed and agility session of the summer before heading into the weight room, and the energy was outstanding throughout.

After months of building a foundation during our winter program, it was exciting to see the enthusiasm and effort as we officially transitioned into the next phase of our offseason development.

Our players are excited about what’s ahead, and it showed from the moment they stepped onto the field.

Another morning down!

As we wind down our winter training with only a few days left, it’s impressive to look back at all of the strength gains that have been made and the standards that have been set since January. The guys have been consistent, the attendance has been strong, and the culture continues to grow.

As we head into the summer phase next week, we’ll continue to push forward, raise the bar, and keep building something special together.

We’re just TWO WEEKS away from our first annual Bay City Central FUNdamental Youth Camp!

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors who helped make this possible. Their support is allowing us to provide what we believe will be an unbelievable experience for the kids in our community.

With nearly 130 campers already pre-registered, it’s shaping up to be an incredible three days at Engel Stadium and we truly believe it’ll be the best part of many kids’ summer!

Registration will remain open up until the first day of camp. However, campers registering from this point forward can no longer be guaranteed a camp t-shirt in the correct size.

We can’t wait to see everyone in a couple weeks!
