Beyond Gymnastics Gymnastics, movement & community for everyone 🤸🏽‍♀️

At Beyond Gymnastics, we strive to provide children with special needs the opportunity to participate in a gymnastics program which is designed specifically for each student based on their individual abilities and limitations. We intend to go beyond teaching gymnastics by integrating gross motor development, sensory stimulation, and social interaction among all students while allowing them to play and learn in a safe environment.

Today’s goal: 50+ handstands in an hour 🤸

And these kiddos absolutely blew past it 😂 We did handstands on the floor, mats, beam, trampoline… basically anywhere we could!

Were they all perfect? Nope! Today we were focused on getting upside down, transferring weight onto our hands, and starting to find some balance and control. Lots and lots of repetitions for our 4–5 year olds today! 💪
