Listen, I’m not your average business owner now. I’m 50 yrs old and have seen too much s**t change over the years. I ran the original Chestnut Lanes, which I didn’t burn down btw, like every decision made was my dads. After that tragedy, if my family and I was willing to take the risk of actually building a bowling center in 2021 when there’s no one investing into this industry, I was gonna run it my way and different. I was NOT gonna be stuck in the 1970s bowling center proprietor mode and I would push the envelope, just like every other successful business in today’s competitive world. Yes by all means, I’m in business to make money. Guilty as charged. I work to provide for my daughters first, my wife second, the community third and me last. I completely understand what Barnesville has done for me and mine and have tried as much as humanly possible to repay the same gesture. If by any reason you think you were slighted by my efforts, it’s not personal at all. I’m doing the best I can to help who I can. So to summarize, I wholeheartedly concur that I’m a polarizing personality. If you actually know me, you love me bc you’ll always know I’m there. But if you don’t, you don’t get me. And that’s OK. We all have our own ⭕️s in life and I’m perfectly comfortable with mine. But you’re welcome to join. ❤️☘️🎳
