A friendly office reminder:
Life happens. Kids get sick. Work runs late. Cars break down. Appointments occasionally slip our minds. We completely understand that, and we always appreciate a quick call or message when you can't make it.
This post is not about those situations.
This post is for the handful of people who repeatedly schedule appointments, don't show up, don't call, then call days later to reschedule as if nothing happened. Rinse and repeat.
When you no-call/no-show an appointment, that time doesn't magically fill itself. It is time that was reserved specifically for you and time that another patient could have used.
Think of it this way: most people would be pretty upset if their employer randomly decided not to pay them for an hour they worked. A no-call/no-show has a very similar effect on a small business owner.
Moving forward, patients who repeatedly no-call/no-show appointments will be dismissed from the practice. Per the Ohio Revised Code of "dismissing a patient" you will receive a certified letter in the mail from our office.
Also, if you no call/no show your new patient appointment you will not be scheduled again.
We value our patients, and we value our time. Respect goes both ways.
Thank you to the overwhelming majority of our patients who show up, communicate, and help keep our schedule running smoothly. We appreciate you more than you know.
