The Baltimore Ravens could still have one important move left to make before the season begins, and one proposed trade would address a growing need at tight end 👀
In this scenario, the Ravens would acquire Cole Kmet from the Chicago Bears in exchange for a 2028 third-round pick, giving Baltimore an established pass-catching option at a position that has undergone significant changes this offseason.
The proposal makes sense for both sides.
While a 2027 third-round pick may be viewed as too steep of a price, pushing the compensation back to 2028 still gives Chicago valuable Day 2 draft capital while preserving flexibility after already parting with middle-round assets in the Garrett Bradbury trade.
For Baltimore, the departures of Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar have left the tight end room considerably thinner, creating an opportunity to add a proven contributor who could immediately help both in the passing game and as a complementary piece alongside the Ravens’ offensive core ✅
