The Bees are out and about this weekend! Catch Petti LaBelle and Snuffy out at Summer Affair hosted by the Cleveland Guardians

Summer Affair gives people a chance to learn from some clinic leaders from all over to put new tools in their toolboxes. Fridays are spent working in clinics, while Saturdays and Sundays are for scrimmaging and applying those skills learned over the weekend.

We love when our teammates branch out and learn new things or polish things they already know in events like this!

The countdown has begun! Western Hemisphere Cup starts tomorrow and we have to give a huge shout out to our Bees traveling. Slaypex, Rolling Funder, Slaytoven, Badger the Witness, and SHHHEEEEESHHHHH! Not to mention our skaters who started out the season as a cross over, Hulk and Trauma? And how can we ever forget our bench staff Chops and Scarley Davidson?

Good luck to our friends, setting aside the blue and yellow to represent the Green and Black this weekend. We are so proud and can’t wait to watch you. To all the rest of the St. Louis Gatekeepers Roller Derby whether you were once a Bee or not, we are right here cheering you on. WEOFEO We are all Bees, but we are also Gatekeepers! 🐝⚜️

We are unbelievably thankful for everyone who helped or came out to this event! We would not be able to do this without everyone involved. So many working parts go into weekends like this, and the best part is seeing everything come together and everyone have a blast!

Our hearts are full and our bodies are tired. If you have pictures from IHOD IV drop them in the comments. We want to see all the fun that was had! No matter if you played, officiated, announced, volunteered, or spectated, let’s see it! 🐝🐝🐝

That’s all we wrote. IHOD IV is officially done. Now we after party, decompress, and sleep for a week. Our Hive is always Buzzing, so we will be back to work on Wednesday.
